Democrats: Manifesto Doesn’t Tell You the Actual Motive of Cole Allen

Remember how Jimmy Kimmel and MSNBC tried to convince everyone that Charlie Kirk was shot by a conservative?

The story looked very bad for them, so they decided to craft a different narrative that better fit their worldview.

Well, the Democrats are at it again, despite the fact that we have an actual written manifesto that tells you exactly why Allen wanted to kill the president.

It’s the other half of the “confuse the narrative” strategy, in which one group out there insists that the assassination attempts on Trump have all been staged, and the other insists that it was actually a disgruntled conservative who took the shot.

The point is to blunt the impact of this gut punch to their overall narrative that it is the right that is dangerous.

There’s a manifesto out there that details why he tried to kill the president, and it echoes every single Democratic Party talking point that you can imagine. It reads like a BlueSky account because the guy spent his time on BlueSky reading and interacting with big accounts that spread anti-Trump hoaxes. 

Yet the official line from the prestige media is that we may never know the motive, as The New York Times published yesterday. Barack Obama endorsed that line of attack as well.

Then there are the new story rewrites. Ken Klippenstein, for instance, is going with the claim that the man who went to No Kings rallies, donated to Kamala Harris, was a member of a radical left-wing group, and lived on BlueSky was actually a disgruntled Christian who thought Trump was a blasphemer.

Dude, we have the manifesto. You don’t need his resume. He told you why he did it. 

Only, it doesn’t matter to the people this is aimed at. They need an alternate explanation that fits their priors, and anything will do. It has to be just plausible enough. 

And, on top of all this, are the myriad left-wingers lamenting that, once again, Trump escaped the Grim Reaper.

Democrats are insisting that they have done nothing to encourage any of this, despite 10 years of calling Trump a Nazi, creating a Gestapo, insisting he is a rapist and pedophile, and calling for “Maximum War” against Trump just last week.

Last year, POLITICO published a piece on the mood of Congressional Democrats, who keep being told by their constituents that there needs to be “blood in the streets.” 

It isn’t a secret that Democrats are itching for blood. Rioting is their love language, and the Code Pink protesters outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner were waving signs calling for Trump’s death.

They are only saying bluntly what the cognoscenti say a bit more slyly. “Trump is an existential threat,” creating a Gestapo, a war criminal, or any of a number of truly intolerable things.

Cole Allen gives you a nice, convenient list of the accusations, all repeats of what Democrats and Pravda say every day.

Violent fantasies about killing Trump are now standard fare, mostly from the midwits. Most of the videos of people expressing disappointment that Trump escaped over the past couple of days have come from teachers and nurses, along with a few mid-level political activists.

Democrats have rallied around Hasan Piker, who has a habit of explaining why political murder is A-OK in his book. They show up on his podcast; he is now a regular on the Opinion Page of The New York Times, where he recently explained why Luigi Mangione was justified in murdering Brian Thompson.

Now that Trump has survived yet another attempt on his life, the Democrats are doing their best to rewrite history. Jamie Raskin can’t imagine what Democrats have ever said that might incite people. In fact, he has no problem at all with Trump, just his policies!

Of course, the “Trump is an existential threat” and “fascist pedophile” rhetoric will start up yet again in a day or two. After Butler, the Democrats doubled down on the extreme rhetoric, and they will do so again.
