Eva Vlaardingerbroek delivered a forceful message about Europe’s identity, history, and future, arguing that the continent represents a unique civilization built over thousands of years and warning that the security and stability once associated with European societies are being lost.

Vlaardingerbroek described Europe as the product of generations of sacrifice and cultural achievement, emphasizing what she sees as the continent’s historic contributions to art, literature, music, and architecture.

She pushed back against claims that European culture lacks significance and argued that the historical record shows the opposite.

“This is Europe, the greatest civilization to have ever existed. And that is not a coincidence. This continent is the result of 1000s of years of effort, hardship, sacrifice, and above all, love. White people have no culture. It’s about the stupidest lie that I’ve ever heard. Our civilization has produced the greatest art, the greatest literature, the greatest music, the greatest architecture, it is all ours, but Europe is more than an open air museum. Europe, above all, is our home. We have no other and we are not willing to lose it.”

Vlaardingerbroek said the continent’s legacy extends beyond its historical achievements and institutions, arguing that Europe also represents a shared homeland for its people.

She described Europe as more than a collection of monuments and historic sites, calling it a place shaped by generations who built and maintained their societies over centuries.

She also contrasted present-day conditions with what she described as a different reality experienced by earlier generations.

Vlaardingerbroek said that the level of safety her grandparents once took for granted is no longer guaranteed in many places today.

“And exactly that. What made Europe so enjoyable is something that we are losing today, something that our grandparents never had to worry about. They didn’t have to look over their shoulder. They didn’t have to worry about having their thing stoned, or worse, getting assaulted randomly in the streets. That is something of our time.”

According to Vlaardingerbroek, the changes she described do not have to become permanent. She argued that political action could alter the direction of the continent and said Europeans should demand that their leaders address the concerns she raised.

“But it doesn’t mean that it has to stay that way. We don’t have to live like this.”

Vlaardingerbroek said she believes a policy approach she calls “remigration” offers a solution to the issues she discussed.

She urged Europeans to push their political leaders to implement such policies and said the outcome would depend on public demand and political will.

“There’s a solution, and it’s called RE migration. The only thing that we need to do now is demand that our political class implements it. It can be done. Do not let them fool you.”

Throughout her remarks, Vlaardingerbroek emphasized the importance of remembering Europe’s past and maintaining a connection to its historical identity. She argued that understanding where Europeans came from could guide decisions about the continent’s future.

“All we have to do is remember who we are, where we came from, and we will know where to go, where there is a will, there is a way.”

She closed her remarks by expressing confidence that Europeans could restore what she views as the defining character of their continent, linking that goal to future generations.

“We can save this continent. We can claim our countries back, and we will get it done. For the sake of our children, we will make remigration happen.”
