Rapper Joseph “Fat Joe” Cartagena is facing serious allegations in a $20 million lawsuit filed by his former hype man and creative collaborator, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, as reported by Page Six.
The federal complaint, filed in New York, includes accusations of sexual misconduct involving minors, labor exploitation, and financial fraud.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Dixon alleges he personally witnessed Fat Joe engage in sexual acts with multiple underage girls during the years they worked together between 2006 and 2019.

One claim involves a 16-year-old Dominican girl who allegedly performed sexual acts on Fat Joe in exchange for money, clothing, and payment of her phone bill.

The lawsuit also describes another alleged victim, a 15-year-old Caucasian girl from overseas. Dixon claims that after meeting her following a concert abroad, Fat Joe brought the minor to New York and Miami several times and paid for her to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift.
According to the complaint, she later left the relationship and eventually married a professional athlete.
A third alleged victim, described as a Latina, reportedly met Fat Joe when she was 15 and he was in his late 30s.
Dixon claims Fat Joe “was in love with” her and considered leaving his wife, Lorena Cartagena, for the teenager. He allegedly took her on tour and rented a Florida condo for her a few blocks away from his home.
In addition to the sexual allegations, Dixon accuses Fat Joe of coercive labor practices and financial misconduct.
The lawsuit states that Dixon was consistently underpaid, denied credit for his contributions as a lyricist and background vocalist, and excluded from royalties and backend payments.
Dixon also named several other defendants in the suit, including Pete “Pistol Pete” Torres, Richard “Rich Player” Jospitre, Erica Juliana Moreira, Sneaker Addict Touring LLC, Slate, Inc., and Roc Nation, LLC.
Fat Joe’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, strongly denied the allegations. In a statement to Page Six, Tacopina accused Dixon’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, of filing salacious lawsuits to attract media coverage.
He also claimed that several of the women mentioned in the lawsuit have denied any connection to Fat Joe. “They’ve made it clear that some of them don’t even know Fat Joe,” he stated.
Tacopina also referenced a prior lawsuit Fat Joe filed in May against Dixon, in which he accused his former employee of defamation after Dixon publicly called him a pedophile.
That lawsuit described the new claims as a “money grab,” asserting that Dixon never raised any issues during their years working together.
In response, Blackburn previously told TMZ that Fat Joe’s countersuit was “baseless” and aimed at deflecting the fallout from what he called “what’s to come.”
As of now, no criminal charges have been filed, and the civil case remains pending in federal court.
