FBI Withholds Key Epstein Files as Questions Swirl Over Comey’s Ties [WATCH]

The FBI is facing renewed scrutiny after withholding critical documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, delaying their scheduled release.

Maurene Comey previously served as the lead prosecutor in both the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases.

She was also involved in the prosecution of Nicholas Tartaglione, Epstein’s former cellmate.

Given her role in these high-profile cases, speculation has grown over whether she played a role in the FBI’s handling of Epstein-related records.

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters questioned whether Comey’s involvement contributed to the FBI’s failure to release the documents.

He cited previous instances where key information about Epstein’s activities had been concealed.

“Epstein was facing sex trafficking charges in lower Manhattan, where’s all that paperwork?” Watters asked, highlighting the FBI’s seizure of banking records and files from Epstein’s properties.

He also referenced the Department of Justice’s controversial 2008 non-prosecution agreement and the Bureau of Prisons’ handling of Epstein’s detention at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.

Attorney General Pam Bondi also weighed in, noting that the FBI’s Manhattan Field Office had not disclosed the existence of “thousands of documents” related to Epstein.

During his campaign, President Donald Trump pledged to declassify Epstein-related files, a move that put pressure on government agencies to release information that had been kept under wraps for years.

“Is the bureau embarrassed that they let hundreds of young victims down?” Watters asked.

“Was he a double agent? He had dirt on everyone and a knack for making cash and he’s dead. So the government has no one to protect but themselves.”

Bondi confirmed that while some Epstein-related files were released Thursday, the FBI held back crucial records, including a long-sought client list.

She said she was informed that the withheld documents are stored at an FBI field office in New York.

The delay in releasing these documents has intensified concerns over government accountability in the Epstein case.

With continued public demand for transparency, questions remain about whether the full extent of Epstein’s connections and criminal dealings will ever be revealed.
