Hollywood Weirdo Misha Collins Says Embrace Trans Madness, or You’re Not Conservative [WATCH]

Actor Misha Collins, best known for playing Castiel in the long-running television series *Supernatural*, released a video expressing disappointment in the current state of trans rights in the United States, as reported by Breitbart.

In the video posted to YouTube, Collins said he was “ashamed” that transgender Americans were, in his view, losing their rights during Pride Month.

He said the situation left him questioning why Republicans have not made transgender rights a “conservative rallying call.”

Collins explained that he had recently been in a conversation about whether trans advocates could reach Republican voters rather than dismissing them entirely.

From that discussion, he said he came to see a potential common ground rooted in conservative ideals of limited government and individual freedom.

“It actually occurs to me,” Collins said, “[we should] bring over all of the somewhat moderate Republicans because it is like, this is an issue — I mean, it’s fucking maddening, because the Republican ethos for so long has been: ‘Government, stay out of my business. Let the free market do its job. Don’t impinge my freedoms with your woke censorship, or any other censorship. Let us just, you know, have our guns and do our thing.’”

He added that transgender rights could fit within that same framework of personal liberty.

“And [transgender rights] is a great example of that. Like, stay out of our business. Let people make their own choices in life. And it seems this almost should be something that is a conservative rallying call, right?”

Despite his argument, Collins acknowledged that conservative lawmakers and activists largely oppose policies championed by trans advocates.

The article framing his comments argued that the debate extends beyond personal freedom, touching on government mandates and public funding.

On his YouTube page, Collins further described his dismay over how the trans community is being treated. “We wish we could be proud of our country this Pride month, but instead, we are deeply ashamed,” he wrote in the video description.

He continued, “particularly of how our trans community has been attacked by our government. Trans service members have been fired from the military, passports can no longer show trans gender identity — effectively banning travel to many countries for many Americans — and the president viciously rails against the community, which has caused a horrifying spike in hate crimes.”

In the same statement, Collins cited specific legislation as examples of what he called systemic oppression.

“And it’s not only happening at the federal level: for just one example, Kansas passed a law that canceled the licenses of trans people immediately, making it literally illegal for them to even drive to the DMV to update their licenses,” he wrote.

According to Collins, that measure reflected “a systemic pattern of oppression, legislating away the rights, freedoms, and even safety of trans people across our nation.”

To further the discussion, Collins invited trans activist Erin Reed and Montana State Representative Zooey Zephyr to join him for interviews on the topic.

Both guests have been active in debates over transgender rights and legislation in their respective arenas.
