Jenny Mollen Recalls Sending an ‘Awful’ Text to Ex Jason Biggs Just After Split [WATCH]

Jenny Mollen has revealed the “horrifying” text she sent to her estranged husband, Jason Biggs, right after he moved out following their separation, as reported by Page Six.

The actress admitted that the situation looked terrible on her part because of the timing and subject of the message.

Speaking on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast, Mollen explained that she texted Biggs to inform him she was scheduled for a vaginoplasty shortly after he left their home.

She described the circumstances as “crazy” and said, “The timing was horrifying.”

According to Mollen, 47, Jason moved out on a Friday, and she did not plan for the surgery to coincide with his departure. “I’m having a vagina surgery,” she said with laughter, acknowledging how bad it sounded given the timing.

Mollen admitted that she hadn’t intended to tell Biggs, 48, about the procedure because it seemed “shady” and “weird.” However, she felt obligated to let him know since she would be “going under for two and a half f–king hours.”

The “American Pie” star’s ex-wife added that she tried to make the situation “feel palatable,” but ultimately described it as “awful.” Despite the awkward exchange, Mollen found one positive angle to the text.

“The one good thing I was able to tell him was, ‘I’m not allowed to have sex for eight weeks,’” she said. Mollen did not share how Biggs responded, but later joked that everything now looks “even” following the procedure.

The couple, who were together for 18 years, announced their split in May. A spokesperson confirmed they remain on good terms and are prioritizing raising their two sons, Lazlo, 8, and Sid, 12.

Despite their separation, Mollen said their relationship still feels affectionate. On a separate podcast, “Not Skinny But Not Fat,” she told host Amanda Hirsch that their bond remains “still, like, romantic.”

“We still love each other,” Mollen explained. “It’s just not, I don’t know, it’s a different type of romance. It’s, like, your best friend.”

The comedian described their relationship as “solid” and praised their co-parenting, calling themselves “amazing” at it.

Mollen also admitted that navigating single life again after nearly two decades of marriage feels “bizarre.” Even so, she said her connection with the “Loser” actor remains strong.

“People will be like, ‘How does it feel?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, the same?’ ” she said.

“We live in two different places, but we’re still tethered. We have kids. We still talk 18 times a day about everyone’s schedule, and after school and holidays.”

Mollen and Biggs first met while filming “My Best Friend’s Girl” in 2007. They became engaged in January 2008 and eloped that April before renewing their vows in Napa, California, a few months later.

In May 2025, a year before their breakup, Mollen celebrated Biggs’ 47th birthday with a loving Instagram post that has since been deleted.

She shared a throwback photo from his surprise 30th birthday party, writing that although they were already married, she “still knew practically nothing” about him at the time.

Mollen ended that message with humor and affection, promising that she had learned her lesson about surprises. “Happy 47th, I promise I planned nothing,” she wrote.
