Jack Schlossberg was seen entering his sister Tatiana Schlossberg’s New York City apartment building on Tuesday, hours after the family announced her death following a battle with terminal cancer, as reported by The New York Post.

Jack Schlossberg, 32, was photographed pushing a stroller carrying his young nephew into the luxury Park Avenue building where his sister lived.

Schlossberg appeared visibly shaken and hurried inside the building shortly after news of Tatiana’s death became public.

Tatiana Schlossberg died Tuesday at age 35 after battling leukemia. She was a married mother of two young children.

“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning,” the JFK Library Foundation announced on Instagram.
“She will always be in our hearts.”

Schlossberg, who is running for Congress in New York’s 12th Congressional District being vacated by Rep. Jerold Nadler, did not comment publicly while entering the building.

Last month, Tatiana detailed her terminal diagnosis in a personal essay published in The New Yorker. In the piece, she revealed that doctors had given her less than a year to live after diagnosing her with myeloid leukemia involving a rare mutation.

She wrote that she received the prognosis in January and explained that her immediate family was helping care for her children as she underwent treatment.

Tatiana wrote that she was undergoing aggressive medical care while raising her children, Edwin, 3, and a daughter who is now 19 months old.

According to her essay, she spent approximately 18 months in treatment, which included a bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood transfusions.

She was diagnosed with Inversion 3, a rare mutation typically seen in older patients. Tatiana was diagnosed just hours after giving birth to her second child in May 2024.

In her essay, Tatiana described her concern about her children growing up without memories of her.

“My first thought was that my kids, whose faces live permanently on the inside of my eyelids, wouldn’t remember me. My son might have a few memories, but he’ll probably start confusing them with pictures he sees or stories he hears,” she wrote.

“I didn’t even really get to take care of my daughter — I couldn’t change her diaper or give her a bath or feed her.”

Tatiana Schlossberg was the youngest granddaughter of John F. Kennedy. She was the daughter of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg.

Jack Schlossberg has spoken publicly in the past about his close relationship with his nephew. In a 2022 interview with Today, he said he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with the child.

“His name is Edwin, but I like to call him Jack,” Schlossberg told the program.
“I can’t get away from him. I love him.”

Tatiana Schlossberg is survived by her husband, George Moran, their two children, her parents, her older sister Rose, 37, and her younger brother Jack.
