Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman says he’ll trade his hoodie for a suit if Graham Platner can prove the explicit messages never went to anyone underage.
Fetterman made the offer Saturday on “Fox News Saturday in America,” addressing the embattled Maine Senate candidate by his Kik handle, “P-Hustle,” according to the New York Post (NYP). The host Kayleigh McEnany shook her head at the label. Fetterman told Platner he could clear the matter by showing that every recipient of his messages was an adult.
“P-Hustle, here’s a great chance. Fetterman pressed Platner to hand over the full record. “You can set the record clear and provide all of those texts and all of those conversations that you were having as a newlywed just before you were going to run for the Senate,” he said, according to the NYP. He added a one-word demand, “Transparency,” noting the platform has faced scrutiny for hosting underage users.

Independent reporting backs the existence of the account. A Kik account tied to the handle “phustle0331” is believed to be Platner’s, according to CNN. The profile shows him bare-chested, a towel at his waist. Fetterman had already gone after Platner on the network, branding him a “creep.”
Platner has denied the allegations against him, and no one has accused him of any unlawful conduct involving minors, according to the NYP. His campaign did not respond to the outlet’s request for comment.
The senator stays Platner’s loudest critic in Congress. He wore his trademark black hoodie throughout the Fox interview and regularly works the Senate floor in shorts, according to the NYP.
