Morgan Wallen stirred fresh controversy during his “Still the Problem” tour after being caught on video grabbing a security guard’s cellphone and throwing it across the stage at his Pittsburgh show, as reported by Page Six.

Video taken by an audience member showed the 33-year-old country singer appearing upset as the guard recorded him performing at Acrisure Stadium. The guard stood with both hands raised behind her, filming Wallen as he sang to the crowd.

At first, Wallen gestured toward the phone and walked away. Moments later, he returned, snatched the device from her grip, and hurled it across the stage.

Footage uploaded by TikTok user jcroo419 claimed a fan had handed their phone to the guard, asking her to pass it along to Wallen, who instead “launched it.”

“I get it… security should be doing security things, but….” the user captioned the post, suggesting confusion over the moment.

When reached for comment by Page Six, Wallen’s representative did not immediately respond.

The following night, Wallen canceled his scheduled Saturday show in Pittsburgh. He explained in an Instagram Story that the cancellation had nothing to do with “nonsense” rumors circulating online but was purely due to weather conditions.

“This morning, my team walked on the bus and told me they had been consulting with local officials and that I should cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight, and I said, ‘Why?’” Wallen shared.

“They said that there was going to be strong winds in the area, and I said, ‘OK.’ So, that is what I did in that moment, and I trusted my team,” he said.

Wallen added that his stage setup could be dangerous in severe weather, calling it a “large stage” that “could become fatal” if high winds swept through.

“I’ve been seeing a lot of nonsense about me that is simply not true, and I just wanted to clear the air,” he told fans in the clip.

The Pittsburgh incident followed another onstage outburst earlier in the week in Denver, where Wallen reportedly lost his temper after his piano malfunctioned during his performance of “Sand in My Boots.”

Unable to play, Wallen finished the song singing alone before returning to the piano and shoving it roughly a foot across the stage. Moments later, he flipped and broke it in frustration.

He later made light of the situation with a TikTok video the next day, joking while sitting at a new piano. “Hey, I just want you to know that right now this piano is working,” he said. Then he quipped, “That’s what they told me last night, too.”

The sequence of high-profile mishaps has renewed attention on Wallen’s behavior during his ongoing tour, which has drawn massive crowds alongside moments of unpredictable drama.

As of now, no further comment has been issued from Wallen or his team regarding the phone-throwing video.
