The trouble with celebrities is they’re dumb.
Singer Billie Eilish declared, “No one is illegal on stolen land” and “Fuck [Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE)]” at the Grammys on Sunday. (RELATED: The Grammys Just Put The Final Nail In Their Own Coffin)
If the United States is “stolen land,” presumably Eilish believes in some theory of property which posits that the first people to step foot on a piece of earth are that piece of earth’s rightful owners.
Just kidding. There’s a very slim chance Eilish has considered the philosophical implications of her statement. She’s only parroting a silly slogan to gain the approval of her fellow brain-dead celebs. Her statement has echoes of Nim Chimpsky’s longest recorded sentence: “Give orange me give eat orange me eat orange give me eat orange give me you.” (Chimpsky “spoke” via sign language.)
Eilish isn’t merely facing accusations of stupidity, but hypocrisy, too.
The pop star reportedly lives in a multi-million dollar Los Angeles mansion. Her mansion is “situated in our ancestral land,” the Tongva tribe claims, according to Fox News.

You can’t make this up 😂
“The tribe says she built her mansion on Native American property!”

“Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when Public Figures provide visibility to the true history of this country,” a Tongva spokesperson said to the Daily Mail. (RELATED: Brown University Donates Land To Native American Tribe)
I’m sure Eilish will welcome “undocumented refugees” fleeing persecution into her residence as warmly as the residents of Martha Vineyard did in 2022. I admit, I’m slightly confused about how flooding the nation with foreigners is supposed to honor the Cherokee, but I defer to Eilish’s intellect.
