Noah Kahan found himself addressing an unexpected and unpleasant situation after his Philadelphia stop on “The Great Divide” tour that quickly went viral online, as reported by Fox News.

A video from Saturday night’s performance at Citizens Bank Park appeared to show pieces of fecal matter on the floor among the crowd, sparking widespread reactions and disgust across social media.

The “Stick Season” singer wasted no time in responding to the bizarre incident.

Taking to X on Saturday morning, he pleaded with his future concertgoers to make use of the available restrooms instead of creating a scene in the middle of the venue.

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

“If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao,” Kahan wrote.

The 29-year-old singer combined humor with exasperation in his message, trying to address the issue while keeping spirits light.

He went on to empathize with venue staff members who were left to clean up the mess.

“I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29-year-old, but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1000-yard stare after dealing with that,” he added.

In another candid admission, Kahan told his followers that he had once faced a similar embarrassment during an onstage performance in Charlottesville.

“I sh*t myself onstage in Charlottesville, but that’s because I am dedicated to my craft,” he joked, drawing laughter from fans and followers.

Meanwhile, the viral TikTok post that fueled the controversy showed close-up footage of seats surrounded by what appeared to be excrement. A friend of the creator wrote, “45,000 people and I end up seated right behind her.”

The comments quickly flooded with disbelief and humor from fellow users who couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

One viewer tried to propose an alternative explanation, suggesting that the mess might have been dirt from someone’s footwear.

“Hear me out… what if it was dirt on their shoes? As a horse girl… sometimes I track mud in like this,” they wrote.

The creator, however, insisted that the situation was as bad as it looked and claimed:

“She squatted and took a sh*t. Security was screaming at her to go to the bathroom.”

At his next show on Sunday in Toronto, Kahan decided to take matters further by turning the bizarre fiasco into an interactive moment with fans.

A video circulating on X showed him leading the crowd in a tongue-in-cheek pledge dedicated to better bathroom behavior.

“I solemnly swear I will not sh*t my pants,” Kahan told them to repeat. “And, if I do, I won’t take it from my pants and put it on the floor.”

The crowd erupted in laughter, sealing the incident as one of the most outlandish moments of his ongoing tour.

Kahan’s “The Great Divide” tour began earlier this month in Orlando and will run through a total of 57 stops before concluding in Paris later this year.

His fourth studio album of the same name was released in April, following his Grammy nomination for Best New Artist after “Stick Season”.

The strange bathroom incidents seem to be a recurring concern in live music, as other performers have shared stories of audience behavior.

Olivia Rodrigo, speaking with KISS FM UK, commented on seeing fans wear diapers to secure a front-row spot and admitted she has noticed the smell as a performer.

While the Philadelphia incident certainly broke the internet, Kahan’s mix of humor and honesty turned a messy situation into a memorable part of his tour narrative.

His message to fans now stands clear: enjoy the music, but handle business the proper way.
