President Trump Demands Courts Stop Vicious Media Lie That Byron Donalds Dropped Him [WATCH]

President Donald Trump on Saturday blasted the corporate press after reports claimed Florida’s Republican nominee for governor, Rep. Byron Donalds, had removed Trump from his campaign website.

Trump accused media outlets of pushing a false narrative that could damage Donalds’ campaign.

In a Truth Social post, Trump warned that the reports were designed to turn MAGA voters against Republican candidates.

He also argued that dishonest media outlets should face scrutiny from the courts and lose access to White House facilities.

“Another Fake Story is that a very close friend of mine, a man I endorsed very early, Byron Donalds, is taking me off his website and Campaign materials.”

Trump stressed that he had endorsed Donalds early in the governor’s race.

Trump identified USA Today as the starting point for the wider story, then named CNN, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Newsweek, The New York Times, ABC, NBC, Forbes, and other outlets. He said his popularity in Florida remains strong.

Trump said Donalds immediately responded with a picture and statements denying the media narrative.

He also noted that two Florida rallies had already been scheduled for Donalds and predicted that both events would be sold out.

“This was a Fake Story, with no sources, and the only justification for it is they want to stop my ever-upward momentum,” Trump argued that the coverage was another attempt by major media organizations to undermine his political strength.

“The Fake News Media been doing this for years; I call them out, but they should really be called out by the Courts, and should not be allowed to enter the White House premises, or Press Room, because they are CORRUPT and DISHONEST!”

Trump said something must be done about what he described as a dishonest form of politics. He maintained that courts should allow action against such conduct and tied the issue to the importance of having a free and honest press.

The president reaffirmed his complete endorsement of Donalds and contrasted him with Democrat David Jolly.

Trump called Jolly a failed candidate and argued that he does not represent the values of Florida voters supporting the Republican campaign.

Trump also accused the media of trying to make MAGA supporters turn against Republicans. Instead, he said the effort was driving those voters closer to him and his allies, while Donalds remained positioned as his endorsed candidate for governor.

“If Florida thought the story that Byron “dropped” me was true, he would lose the Election, and that would be a terrible thing because he’s going to be a fantastic Governor!”

Trump’s warning placed the alleged media distortion at the center of the campaign dispute.

The Miami Herald pushed the first major Florida version of the story, claiming Donalds had “stripped” prominent references to Trump from a redesigned campaign site.

The Washington Post, CNN, Forbes, and other outlets followed with coverage of the supposed break.

Donalds did not withdraw his support for Trump, revoke the endorsement, or abandon the America First agenda described in the report.

The Hill reported that Trump’s endorsement remained visible on Donalds’ campaign website through a rotating banner featuring conservative supporters.

The website also continued listing Donalds’ role as a 2024 Trump campaign surrogate.

Donalds publicly posted a photograph with Trump and directly affirmed that he remained proud to have the president’s support in the governor’s race.

Donalds wrote on X: “I am proud to have President Trump’s endorsement. While everyone is focused on our website, check out our policy proposals to make life more affordable for Floridians.”

He then criticized Jolly for having “ZERO substance.”

Trump’s endorsement remained on the site, Donalds continued promoting it publicly, and Trump made clear that his complete backing of the Republican candidate had not changed.
