Reason #9276: Why Legacy Media Deserves to Die in the Full Light of Day

…and not “in darkness” like “democracy.” You’ll recall they claim it will in order to maintain the fiction that the press alone is necessary for democracy’s survival.

I want them squirming in the sun and shrieking from the pain of rejection like a vampire in a bad, BAD  movie. I’d even settle for howling like a green chick soaking from a bucket of water dumped over her head.

Yeah. I can see it.

Either way, as long as their wicked twisting schtick was done, finished, and over with for good.

David had the CBS litany of unforgivable sins lined up for you this morning.

A Washington Post “economic columnist” lit me off with a patently misleading and obvious Harris-boosting tweet shortly thereafter. 

WaPo, the haughty “Democracy Dies in Darkness” rag, who only recently shed their shining example of the extent to which liars and fabulists have become national jokes, now has their “economic columnist” rah-rahing “economic news” that really isn’t at all what her very first chirpy paragraph implies, which is normally about as much as people glance at.

The rest of the numbers – with ZERO CONTEXT – are hidden behind the chart she put up.

JUST IN: More good news on inflation. US inflation was 2.4% (y/y) in September. That’s close to the Federal Reserve’s 2% target and it’s the lowest since February 2021.

I noticed.

This was not, repeat NOT the news Kamala Harris, the famous water-carrying braggart of #Bidenomics needed to have break less than a month out from Election Day.

I mean – ERMAGERD. Could the CNBC headline be any more different than the WaPo’s “economic columnist’s” cheerleading?

Inflation rate hit 2.4% in September, topping expectations; jobless claims highest since August 2023

The pace of price increases over the past year was higher than forecast in September while jobless claims posted an unexpected jump following Hurricane Helene and the Boeing strike, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

The consumer price index, a broad gauge measuring the costs of goods and services across the U.S. economy, increased a seasonally adjusted 0.2% for the month, putting the annual inflation rate at 2.4%. Both readings were 0.1 percentage point above the Dow Jones consensus.

The annual inflation rate was 0.1 percentage point lower than August and is the lowest since February 2021.

Excluding food and energy, core prices increased 0.3% on the month, putting the annual rate at 3.3%. Both core readings also were 0.1 percentage point above forecast.

Don’t believe your lying eyes and empty wallet, simple sheeple. Believe the Harris-Walz campaign affiliates at the WaPo.

What the media elite and Democratic Party hate is when the unrestrained, uncontrollable “misinformation complex” of fact dispersal bursts forth and reassures the common man that he is actually feeling what he’s feeling.

Which is terribly inconvenient.

You know, I can’t think of a single thing that Harris can do on her own. She can’t speak a coherent thought in public.

Harris cannot function without a whole symphony of little moving media pieces in the background clearing the way for her. Media ‘fixers’ then remain hovering on standby to clean up after her messes if spontaneously opening her yap goes horribly awry or, say, she ignore a national disaster.

While Harris could only dream of Zorg’s intelligence, if she were intelligent enough to realize what she lacks, she is still a monster – a created and controlled one.

We have to make sure the country doesn’t choke and empower the busy media to clean-up messes anymore.
