Rosie O’Donnell Suffers Another Full-Blown Trump Derangement Syndrome Meltdown [WATCH]

Actress Rosie O’Donnell told author Marianne Williamson that she believes President Donald Trump could use an “assassination attempt or a terrorist bombing” as an excuse to cancel this year’s midterm elections.

During an interview Wednesday, Williamson said that people were “revving up for the midterms” while also preparing for what she viewed as “an obvious rigging of this election.”

O’Donnell responded to that remark by agreeing and expanding on the concern.

“Not only a rigging, but I think he will have some sort of crisis, whether it’s an assassination attempt or a terrorist bombing,” she said.

She added that she expects “some catastrophic event” to be used to justify postponing elections.

“There will be some catastrophic event and he will say, ‘There will be no elections.’ That is what I think is going to happen,” she continued.

O’Donnell referenced Project 2025, claiming it outlines harmful actions that have already affected the country.

“Because if you read Project 2025, you would have not believed that they wrote down exactly what they’ve done to our country, and America didn’t notice,” she explained.

The actress argued that fundamental rights have already been threatened.

“If you don’t think that they would take away our right to vote when they’ve already done the Voters Rights Act, when they’ve already set up concentration camps, we are past the precipice, America,” O’Donnell said.

Despite her grim outlook, O’Donnell added a note of encouragement.

“Hope is the last thing to die, people. We have to believe,” she declared.

She voiced admiration for the recent momentum among Democrats but expressed frustration with lawmakers she views as inactive.

“I am very thrilled for how the Democrats now seem to be doing, but if I read one more text from a senator saying what he did and not doing anything about it… ‘Well, they can’t, Rosie, they can’t, because they’re the minority,’” the 64-year-old said.

She pointed out that minority groups throughout history had stood up for the nation despite challenges.

“You know what? There were many minority groups that stood their ground and saved our nation before,” she said.

The entertainer also discussed her decision to leave the United States ahead of Trump’s 2025 inauguration, saying she relocated to Ireland to protect her mental health.

“The Flintsones star, who fled the United States and moved to Ireland just before President Donald Trump was inaugurated in January 2025, and has quietly returned to the U.S. on multiple occasions after vowing she wouldn’t, also told Williamson she moved to protect her ‘sanity’ and avoid the ‘stress and anxiety’ of President Trump,” the interview noted.

O’Donnell said she is currently based in New York but maintains her home in Ireland.

“Right now, I’m in New York,” she said.

“But I have moved to Ireland, and that was my choice in order to keep my family and my sanity safe.”

She admitted that avoiding Trump-related stress was a major motivator, despite her continued social media activity criticizing him.

“I don’t want to have the stress and anxiety associated with the constant barrage of him,” O’Donnell said, even though she “disseminates a constant barrage of TikTok posts ranting about President Trump.”

Her comments during the interview drew attention online for their extreme prediction about a potential national crisis and her continued opposition to Trump’s presidency.
