A Texas mother of three is now facing racketeering charges after investigators say she played a role in a long-running prostitution operation allegedly run out of her family home and tied to local law enforcement officials, as reported by The New York Post.
Ashley Ketcherside was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into an alleged prostitution ring authorities say operated for at least a decade in Godley, Texas.
Her arrest came weeks after her husband, Michael Ketcherside, was taken into custody on April 8 in connection with the same operation, according to a report from Fox 4.

At the time of her husband’s arrest, Ashley Ketcherside denied any involvement and said she was unaware of the allegations.

“[Michael] is a great husband, an amazing father to my three kids, and I believe in the justice system,” she said.
Investigators later expanded the scope of the case and now allege that Ashley Ketcherside was actively involved in the enterprise.
According to police, she has two prior prostitution convictions and allegedly offered services for $1,000 an hour. Authorities also say she coached other women and prepared them for prostitution activity within the couple’s home.
Court documents cited in the report state that the Ketchersides hosted members of the Godley Police Department and their spouses at their residence, where the operation allegedly took place.

During those gatherings, Ashley Ketcherside was reportedly involved in preparing another woman for prostitution.
Ashley Ketcherside has denied the accusations against her, including claims that she was paid for sex by former Godley police officer Solomon Omotoya.
She also rejected suggestions about her own involvement, despite her prior convictions, and stated that she believes “two consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever it is that they want to do.”
Authorities say the investigation uncovered additional evidence tying multiple individuals to the alleged operation.

When Omotoya was arrested alongside Michael Ketcherside, investigators say he provided information that led them to former Godley Police Chief Matthew Cantrell.
According to court documents, Cantrell told investigators that Ashley Ketcherside charged $1,000 an hour for sex.
Investigators also reported finding similar pricing information in messages recovered from a burner phone allegedly used by Ashley Ketcherside.
Both Omotoya and Cantrell are facing charges connected to the alleged prostitution ring. Cantrell has been charged with promotion of prostitution and is currently out on bond. Omotoya has been charged with soliciting prostitution.
Authorities are also examining possible corruption connected to the case. According to a news release from the district attorney’s office for Johnson and Somervell counties, the Ketchersides and Cantrell allegedly gathered information on individuals they viewed as adversaries.
Those individuals reportedly included members of the Godley City Council, the Godley ISD school board, and other police officers in the department.
Ashley Ketcherside had previously served on a Godley ISD committee responsible for setting the district’s sex education curriculum.
She was removed from that role in 2023 after members learned of her prior prostitution convictions. Investigators also said she maintained active advertisements on escort websites while volunteering with local organizations.
Ashley Ketcherside is being held on a $200,000 bond. Michael Ketcherside faces charges of continuous promotion, solicitation of prostitution, and racketeering, and is being held on a $450,000 bond.
