The United Nations JUST added Iran to yet another Human Rights commission, just weeks after the Ayatollahs and the IRGC murdered tens of thousands of protesters on the streets. Countries such as Canada and many in the EU stood by as Iran was elevated to an even higher status as a leader in human rights. 

Condemning Israel is practically an obsession with the UN, the media, and the left. Or, should I say, condemning Israel is. Every insane accusation is given credence, such as the insane accusation that Israel has trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners, while the same officials look away as their own investigation shows that Hamas uses rape as a weapon against Israelis and, in fact, Palestinians as well.

Atrocities around the world routinely go uncovered, such as the genocides of Christians in Africa, the mass rapes happening in Gaza by Hamas, the horrific abuses in Iran, and the coverage of these barely exists, and the attention of the “human rights” Rapporteurs at the UN is nonexistent. 

Yesterday, the Islamic State slaughtered dozens of Christians in yet another massacre in Nigeria.

Iran is recruiting child soldiers both at home and abroad—in London, for God’s sake—and there is discussion of lifting sanctions on Iran. Friedrich Merz floated the idea in Germany, if you can believe it, and as far as I can tell it is because he disapproves of Trump.

There was yet another terrorist attack on Jews in London yesterday, and the talk I heard was of “blowback.” From the very same people who express outrage that Israel went to war against Hamas because it killed over a thousand of its citizens. 

“It’s shameful that so many democracies—Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Switzerland—rewarded Iran, China, Cuba, Sudan & Saudi Arabia with key UN posts.”

Blowback makes it OK if you are a Muslim killing Jews, but God forbid that Jews defend themselves. Their job is to shut up and get in the rail cars.

Where is the coverage of atrocities around the world? Why is Iran being put on human rights commissions? For that matter, why was Iran, I kid you not, put on the UN committee to review the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty? As the Vice President of the committee.

It’s as if the point of the media and the internationalists is not to promote peace or human rights, but to condemn Jews. Islamists can kill anybody, including other Muslims, and it is an expression of righteous rage. But if a Jew rises in self-defense, he is committing genocide.

The irony is thick. Gulf countries are beginning to unite with Israel. The UAE now has the Iron Dome and Israeli advisors helping defend against Iran.
