President Donald Trump said the United States will continue conducting nightly military strikes against Iran and warned that Iranian power plants and bridges could become targets next week if Tehran does not agree to negotiate with the United States, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Trump made the remarks during an interview with Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst that aired Tuesday.

During the interview, Yingst asked whether the president was still considering striking Iranian energy infrastructure and expanding military operations deeper inside the country following a five-hour U.S. mission on Monday.

According to the interview, U.S. forces carried out strikes Monday against targets across Iran, including Bushehr, Chah Bahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas.

During the interview, Trump said additional military operations are planned before any strikes on energy infrastructure.

“I’ll save the energy targets for last, but ultimately we’ll hit energy targets,” Trump said.

The president indicated the United States intends to continue operations over several consecutive nights before expanding the list of targets.

“We’re going to hit them very hard tonight, we’re going to hit them very hard tomorrow night, we’re going to hit them very hard the night after, and then next week it gets really bad for them because next week comes the power plants. Next week comes the bridges.”

Trump added that future strikes could be avoided if Iran agrees to negotiate.

“We’re going to knock out all their power plants, we’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”

When Yingst asked whether he believes Iran is serious about reaching an agreement to end the conflict, Trump said the country has little alternative.

“I think if I didn’t do the way I’m doing, they would never make a deal,” he said.

The president also criticized the nuclear agreement negotiated during the Obama administration, arguing it failed to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“They would have never made a deal with Obama. That deal was the worst deal. What they did sign was a worthless piece of paper. What they signed, what they signed with Obama, was a worthless piece of paper that was a road to a nuclear weapon. And what I have is a wall. There will be no nuclear weapon.”

Trump said preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon remains the central objective of any agreement between the two countries, describing that issue as “by far the most important” term of a potential deal.

The latest comments follow previous warnings from Trump that Iranian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, could be targeted during the conflict.

In April, Trump highlighted one such strike by posting a video on Truth Social showing Iran’s B1 Bridge in Karaj, described as the tallest bridge in the Middle East, being destroyed in an airstrike.

After that strike, Trump wrote on Truth Social:

“The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again — Much more to follow! IT IS TIME FOR IRAN TO MAKE A DEAL BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, AND THERE IS NOTHING LEFT OF WHAT STILL COULD BECOME A GREAT COUNTRY! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump said.

Tuesday’s interview marked Trump’s latest warning that the military campaign will continue unless Iran agrees to negotiate with the United States.

According to the president, nightly attacks are expected to continue in the coming days, with Iranian energy infrastructure and transportation networks remaining potential targets if negotiations do not occur.
