UK Whistleblower: 99 percent of Asylum Claims Are Fake

It’s hard to keep up with the insanity of European immigration policies, both because there are tons of stories to follow every day, and because the mass migration of Muslims into the UK and the European Western countries is driving the political discussion and destroying the viability of the dominant political parties. 

Readers here already understand that we are watching the potential suicide of these Western countries, and the certain suicide of the dominant “centrist” parties that have all adopted leftist immigration policies that are widely rejected by their voters. 

Friedrich Merz’s CDU just suffered yet another massive political blow, about which I expect Beege will likely write, and while immigration was not the sole reason for the CDU’s collapse (they have been awful on every policy), it is likely the dominant reason.

Two weeks after the historic 44% result in Saxony-Anhalt, the party has now come first in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with around 38%. That’s more than double their previous score there. 

Merz’s CDU collapsed to roughly 5%, which is their worst result since 1949 and it’s barely enough to even stay in parliament. 

Another glorious confirmation that the firewall’s days are numbered.

One of the most striking things about this political collapse of the pro-migration consensus is that it was always, and obviously so, built on a series of lies. The principal one of which is that the “asylum seekers” are fleeing their countries due to war or oppression. The original Syrian refugees really were fleeing a war, although nobody explained to the populace the reason why they all fled to European countries, where Islam doesn’t dominate and Arabic isn’t spoken. If fleeing war was the reason, there were much better places to settle than France, Germany, or the UK. 

Claims are floating around that 85 percent of the world’s refugees are Muslim, and the UNHCR’s response isn’t “No, they’re not,” but rather, “A spokesperson for the UN’s refugee agency UNHCR said the number of Muslim refugees is likely to be less than 85% of all refugees worldwide.” Which is another way of saying “you’re in the right ballpark.” And those refugees aren’t fleeing to Muslim countries.

In other words, it’s an invasion, either for economic or political reasons, and according to a whistleblower at the Home Office in the UK, almost every “asylum seeker” is a fraud. 

Only one in 100 asylum claims are genuine, according to a whistleblower who has revealed widespread fraud and dysfunction in the system. 

The Home Office official, who has worked for years as a decision-maker on asylum and has assessed thousands of claims, said asylum seekers from certain countries use the “same script” in what he and colleagues describe as “package claims”. 

He said he had encountered a large number of Iraqi Kurds claiming asylum who said they had been in a relationship with the daughter of the prime minister of the Kurdistan region. The official said it had become a “running joke” among colleagues that the number of Iraqi Kurds who said they were involved with the daughter was in the “hundreds”.

He also said that “hundreds” of claims from Pakistanis were based on the assertion that they were in fear of their lives in their home country because of their gay relationship with the same man who had provided letters supporting their claims. 

The source also disclosed suspicions about large numbers of Bangladeshi claimants purporting to be dissidents of the former governing party, which is now banned, even though they were unable to provide basic information about the group. 

As with the “85%” claim, no doubt the number is an estimate rather than a hard count, but that is hardly the point, and the facts aren’t even disputable that most of the “asylum seekers” are young men, often married, showing up alone to get benefits. 

The Piddington case I have written about is a perfect example. Not only is the Home Office trying to dump over a thousand asylum seekers into a community one-fourth the size, but every single one of them is a young man who will be fed, clothed, housed, and subsidized by the government without ever having been vetted. 

The asylum process itself is ridiculous. It takes forever to adjudicate cases. The system is designed to process people as quickly as possible (not very), because the bureaucrats are swamped, nobody checks the claims, and when somebody is denied asylum in the odd case, they still are almost never deported. 

…the culture within Home Office teams created an inherent bias towards accepting claims. An asylum decision-maker must grant the claim if they believe the claimant is “more likely than not” telling the truth. Approving an asylum claim takes “half an hour tops”, while rejections can take many hours. 

When an official decides to reject a claim the official must respond to every claim made by the asylum seeker, often to an extent that he describes as “infantile”.

As with the massive welfare fraud here in the US, the original motivations begin with a vague “we need to help people” impulse over which is laid a bureaucracy that exists to simply hand out benefits to whoever asks. The system is designed, intentionally or not, to reward the people most inclined to commit fraud. 

And, just as there really are people in the US who need help, there certainly are people who need asylum, but in both cases the system fails to discriminate between them and the fraudsters. 

The Home Office has been investigating a growing trend of fake claims from asylum seekers pretending to be gay and launched a fresh inquiry this year after an undercover BBC investigation exposed a shadow industry of law firms and immigration advisers charging thousands of pounds to help asylum seekers lodge fake claims pretending to be gay. 

One immigration lawyer told an undercover reporter pretending to be an asylum seeker that the Home Office never followed up to check the veracity of a claim and instructed them to say at interview: “I am a gay and it is my reality.”

J said he and colleagues had encountered “hundreds” of claims from Pakistani asylum seekers claiming to have the same boyfriend, who had provided letters supporting their claims to be gay men. He said: “He’s provided hundreds upon hundreds of very obviously fake letters of support.” 

He said claims from Pakistani men claiming to be gay also featured photographs from the same east London gay venue, Legs 800 Club, which closed permanently last year. “You get these photographs and there would be ten Pakistani guys all standing there topless in the club with their arms around each other taking pictures to try and prove they’re gay.” 

All the fraud is an open secret with the people who run the system, but the incentives run to approving applications, and anybody holding up the process by doing their real job is seen as a problem. 

Put your head down and just process these applicants. 

Is it any wonder that people in these Western countries believe that the people in power work for the foreigners and not themselves? And is it any wonder that they are erupting in anger at the politicians and bureaucrats who are doing this to them?

The “centrists” are all warning darkly about the rise of the “far right,” but never ask why the political opposition is gaining adherents by the day. 

If they want to know why, they should look in the mirror.
