Utter Disgrace: ‘Where’s My Granddaughter?’

With friends and spouses like these, who needs enemies?

Yesterday, Joe Biden made a rare public appearance at the grand opening of Barack Obama’s presidential library. Most of the attention fell on the Obamas, as one would expect, and the ceremonies went off largely without a hitch – until the end. When the stage program ended, Barack Obama and Jill Biden strolled off the stage, with Obama playing an air-guitar riff and Jill waving to the crowd. 

They left Joe Biden on stage without a second thought, and Joe without any idea what to do:

The New York Post reported on it last night, which I included in my Final Word:

Former President Joe Biden was awkwardly left lingering by himself on stage at the grand opening of the Barack Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, tepidly waving at the crowd after the ceremony ended.

A gleeful Obama had waltzed off the stage to the music, followed by a smiling former first lady Jill Biden, while the 46th president stood there all by himself, seemingly dazed.

For reasons that aren’t clear, the 83-year-old went over to the podium and took off his sunglasses before staring into the crowd with a puzzled look on his face.

“Where’s my granddaughter?” he shouted.

The former president then seemingly started to make his way off-stage before footage of the event cut off.

This is an utter disgrace, on multiple levels.

First, Obama himself knows that Biden requires supervision. Two years ago, Biden got stuck onstage at a fundraiser shortly before the debate with Donald Trump forced Biden to withdraw. Jimmy Kimmel and Obama headlined the event, and Obama had to help Biden off the stage. This was less than two weeks before the debate with Trump, and as Sky News Australia pointed out, it was hardly the first brain-lock Biden exhibited in public:

As usual, the liberal press immediately went into denial and damage control mode as soon as people started pointing out the latest instance of Biden freezing up in public. The Daily Beast rushed to the ramparts with an article that was originally titled, “No, President Biden Didn’t ‘Freeze’ at Star-Studded Hollywood Fundraiser.” They later changed it to claim that the White House is fuming at “Trumpworld’s latest cheap-fake video.” Saying “cheap-fake” is the left’s latest tool in their arsenal to try to convince the voters that none of this is real and Joe Biden is just fine. You just watched it yourself. Did it look fake to you?

The Beast goes on to describe the video as “similarly edited” in reference to the clip showing Biden freezing up at the G7 and being rescued by the Italian Prime Minister. I wasn’t at the event, but I’ve watched that clip multiple times now and I can’t find a single break in either the audio or the video. It plays completely smoothly. So where are these allegations of deceptive editing coming from? Are we supposed to believe that this is more AI manipulation? It was Biden’s people along with Kimmel’s who filmed it.

Obama knew Biden needed assistance. He abandoned his former VP and supposedly close friend on stage instead.

Even worse, though, is Jill Biden. At least one can understand why Obama wanted to walk off playing the role of Cool Barack. Jill, however, was only there because of Joe, and as his wife, has primary responsibility to prevent him from getting humiliated in public at events such as these. This wasn’t her event, and she wasn’t even a secondary star; that role was assigned to Michelle Obama, with the former presidents serving in tertiary support roles. Only Laura Bush appeared to recognize this; she was there to support George W. Bush, not take a bow at the end while walking off with Barack. 

Rather than recognize her true role, Jill wanted to be the star, and in doing so, abandoned her senile husband on stage to be lost and humiliated in public. This is just an extension of how the Biden family treated Joe over the last few years – as a meal ticket, a mule to ride for personal gain, and why they covered up his incapacity for so long before that debate. They had plenty of abettors in that cover-up, but those people aren’t bound by familial ties to Joe. They may have exploited him for political and personal gain, but the manner in which Jill and Hunter participated in and led those efforts was cruel, and this may be the cruelest moment of all. 

And finally, this also indicts the national media outlets that watched Joe struggle in public for years and refused to report on it. As Jazz wrote at the time of the Kimmel fundraiser, the Protection Racket Media turned the story into another “Republicans Pounce!™” narrative, accusing people who saw the obvious of ageism and claiming that the public video evidence and testimonies were “cheap fakes.” The industry that exists to hold those in power accountable instead participated in a vast conspiracy to cover up a constitutional fraud perpetrated on the American public, and on June 16, 2024, had already re-enlisted for another four-year hitch to defraud voters and news consumers. 

What happened at Obama’s presidential library yesterday was the crowning moment of an utter and national disgrace. Shame on the Obamas and the Bidens, and for all the conspirators in this cover-up and exploitation of a senile old man.
