Fans are always the top priority for Riley Green.

Green is a country music sensation who isn’t just a hit with the OutKick audience. He’s a mega-hit with millions of country music fans.

The man is on a rocket ship to the top of the country music world, and it’s not hard to understand why. His music spans the entire spectrum of the genre, and he cares deeply for his fans.

It’s the latter point that is incredibly important for how he crafts his career.

Riley Green explains his mentality when it comes to crafting a show.

Green sat down for a Spotify interview hosted by Pat McAfee, and he revealed there’s one thing on his mind when crafting a setlist for a concert:

What songs do his fans want to hear most?

Riley Green is going viral on TikTok.

“It’s definitely, I look at everything I do in my career as a fan. Like, what would I want to see my favorite artist do? You know, when I’m on stage performing, how would I want to make my set list? It’s not necessarily the songs I want to play. It’s what songs do I think somebody that bought that ticket that saved up that works, you know, a construction job, what do they want to see me do, you know,” Green said during the Spotify interview with McAfee when explaining his mindset.

Riley Green is a country music sensation.

The talented singer continued, “I’m a huge fan of music. I’m still a fan. So, I mean, I look at things like that and when I write and go to record a record, I think about, man, what does that person want to hear me sing about?”

Green also made clear he loves “sad country songs” but he also has real enjoyment for “drunk kind of songs.”

Green also has a massive career achievement just a few days away. His latest album “That’s Just Me” comes out on Sept. 18.
