Brooks Nader is giving fans their first look at her transformation into a “Baywatch” lifeguard.

The 29-year-old actress and model was recently spotted filming scenes for the highly anticipated reboot while wearing the show’s legendary red one-piece swimsuit.

Photos from set captured Nader showing off the classic beach rescue uniform, complete with a high-cut leg that accentuated her long, toned frame.

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

The reboot is slated to premiere on Fox in January 2027 and also stars Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, and Hassie Harrison among others.

Nader’s casting was originally revealed by Fox back in March, when the network announced her role as Selene, captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards.

Fox shared the news with fans on Instagram, writing that Nader “sure manifested this one into being.”

Following the announcement, Nader confirmed the report on her own social media pages, posting a series of on-set images alongside childhood photos of herself wearing a shirt that read “movie star” and another posing in a swimsuit.

“I believed in this long before it made sense ,” she wrote in the caption.

“Never give up, chase your dreams no matter how wild there are!!!!!@baywatchtv @foxtv LETS GO! ❤️.”

While her excitement was clear, public reaction to the project was mixed. Some social media users voiced complaints about what they viewed as an “influencer-heavy” cast.

Critics described the casting choices as “influencer casting, not acting” and called the reboot “a JOKE” with an “awful cast.”

Alongside Nader, the cast includes Noah Beck, who rose to fame on TikTok, and Livvy Dunne, who has amassed more than 13 million social media followers.

Addressing the backlash, Nader told the Daily Mail that she sees the evolving entertainment landscape as a positive shift.

“I think that the times are different, and everyone is so multi-hyphenate now. And you can be both an actor and an influencer and have influence,” she said.

“And that’s the beauty of the culture that social media has created.”

“We now have platforms,” she continued. “I think … during the ’90s, you didn’t have social media. You didn’t have Instagram or TikTok. And, so, people could use their voice now, and I think as long as they’re using it for good … I think that … it’ll bring a vibe to the show.”

The original “Baywatch,” which aired for 11 seasons between 1989 and 2001, became a pop culture phenomenon and launched the careers of stars including Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra.

Electra, who joined the show in its eighth season in 1997, recently reflected on her early struggles before landing the role.

At an appearance at 90s Con in September 2024, she recalled being “homeless in L.A.” before finding success.

“I knew where I needed to be in N.Y. or L.A.,” she said, according to People.

“So, there was a lot of struggling, and I didn’t really know what I was going to do. But I just started to try things and come out of my shell really. So that’s the beginning.”

With Nader now stepping into the role of a new-generation lifeguard, the reboot aims to recapture the energy that made the series a global hit while introducing its iconic look to a modern audience.
