Chris Cuomo has a gift for reminding Americans why CNN finally ran out of patience with him.

During the pandemic, Cuomo also turned his own COVID experience into televised melodrama from home.

Americans were already getting a daily fog machine of guidance from Anthony Fauci, the NIH, and the CDC, so Cuomo’s theatrical contribution fit right in with the national confusion.

Now he is back with podcast wisdom, which apparently means defending COVID shots for children by arguing that the most alarming risks were not widespread enough to bother the grown ups in charge.

That is quite a position when the subject is heart damage in kids.

On his Chris Cuomo Project podcast, Cuomo said, “The risks early on are really isolated to young males and for one potential exposure, which is myocarditis, which is inflammation of the heart.” He also said, “For girls it was a fraction of that.”

Then came the part that should make every parent sit up straight. Cuomo asked, “Now, did some kids get bad cases? Did some kids get horrible [myocarditis]? Yes. Very, very, very few compared to the number of kids that had lesser symptoms or didn’t get sick and didn’t have any complications from COVID.”

He added, “It’s not even a close call.”
