Desperate Democrats Will Do Anything to Distract From Trump’s Success: Brandon Gill [WATCH]

Rep. Brandon Gill said Democrats are attempting to divert attention away from what he described as the successes of President Donald Trump’s presidency by encouraging unrest and obstruction tied to immigration enforcement.

In a recent statement, Gill argued that Democrats are reacting to public support for Trump’s policies by seeking to shift the national conversation away from border security, economic conditions, and education reforms.

He said those efforts include opposing federal immigration enforcement and creating instability in major cities.

“Democrats want to distract from anything other than the successes that this President has had over the past year,” Gill said.

“You know, this has probably been the most successful presidency, certainly in modern history.”

Gill said Democrats understand that Trump’s policies align with what he described as clear priorities among American voters, particularly on border security and economic opportunity.

“And Democrats recognize that, they recognize that the American people want secure borders,” Gill said.

“They want an economy that is livable, where American families have opportunity to get good jobs that pay good wages.”

Gill also pointed to education as a central issue, saying parents want schools focused on academics rather than ideological instruction. He said Trump’s administration has taken steps to address those concerns.

“They want their children to go to schools that aren’t infected with this woke, perverted critical race theory or other woke ideologies, and that’s what President Trump has delivered,” Gill said.

Gill argued that these policy outcomes have contributed to strong public support for Trump, leaving Democrats, in his view, searching for ways to counter that momentum.

“So the American people are thrilled with him. On what Democrats are doing or doing anything that they can to distract from that,” Gill said.

Gill alleged that opposition to immigration enforcement is part of a broader strategy to undermine Trump’s agenda.

He said Democrats are willing to escalate tensions surrounding federal law enforcement operations in order to block the administration’s immigration policies.

“Democrats are doing anything that they can to distract from that, including if that means agitating violence in our cities to stop DHS and ICE from carrying out lawful immigration arrests,” Gill said.

Gill’s comments come amid ongoing political battles over immigration enforcement, including disputes between federal authorities and state or local officials over cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations.

Supporters of the Trump administration have argued that enforcing immigration laws is a core responsibility of the federal government and a central promise of Trump’s presidency.

Gill framed the issue as one of accountability and results, saying the administration’s record on border security, economic growth, and education reform stands in contrast to Democratic opposition tactics.

He said Democrats’ approach reflects an acknowledgment that Trump’s policies have resonated with voters, particularly working families concerned about wages, public safety, and the direction of public education.
