Eric Trump is not taking media slander lying down.

The son of President Donald Trump announced plans to sue MS NOW and its liberal poster host Jen Psaki for what he called “blatant lies” about his involvement with a business supposedly tied to China.

Psaki, during a recent episode of her show “The Briefing,” accused Trump of serving on the board of a company looking to make deals with Beijing. That accusation, according to Eric Trump, was completely fabricated.

Psaki’s claim was classic Beltway spin. During her segment, the former White House press secretary suggested that Eric’s appearance alongside his father on a China trip was more about personal gain than family support.

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

With a grin worthy of cable infotainment, Psaki declared that Trump sat on the board of Alt5 Sigma, citing a Financial Times article and implying a shady connection between Trump family business interests and America’s top rival.

Eric Trump wasted no time firing back. “Contrary to her monologue and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5, not now, not ever,” he posted on X, rejecting the narrative as flat-out false.

He added, “Any person with basic access to Google and willing to open a company’s annual report or proxy statements would know this.”

In other words, Psaki could have checked the facts, but apparently opted for a cheap smear instead.

This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year

The media, predictably, has been slow to correct the record. SEC filings reviewed by multiple outlets, including the New York Post, confirm that Eric Trump is not a board member of Alt5 Sigma but a board “observer.”

That is an important distinction that Psaki conveniently left out.

The difference between observer and member is not a minor detail, yet that nuance vanished the moment Psaki opened her show with her trademark self-assurance.

In the same breath that she accused Trump of potential conflicts of interest, Psaki noted that his spokesperson had already clarified he was joining the China trip in a personal capacity, not an official or business one.

Her next move was to toss that statement aside and imply something sinister anyway.

It was a textbook example of how left-leaning media imagines a scandal even when the facts cut against it.

Eric Trump hammered that point in his response. “I have had zero involvement in any merger discussions involving any public entity I do not run or control. I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing!”

He emphasized that he traveled as a son, not a businessman. “I joined this trip for one reason, as a loving son who adores my father and would not miss being by his side for this incredible moment.”

I intend to sue @jrpsaki and @MSNOWNews over the below clip. To be clear:

• Contrary to her monolog and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5 — not now, not ever. Any person with basic access to Google and willing to open a company’s annual report or proxy…— Eric Trump (@EricTrump) May 15, 2026

WATCH:

Psaki’s effort to frame a political narrative out of a family trip is not surprising to anyone who has watched the corporate press at work.

Once part of the Biden administration’s spin machine, Psaki learned that style of political storytelling inside the White House briefing room.

Now she has taken that same flair for misleading insinuation to her television platform, apparently thinking that repetition makes a smear more truthful.

As for MS NOW, the network has not commented on the matter, a silence that speaks volumes.

The company often touts its commitment to “truth” and “integrity,” yet its on-air talent has repeatedly stretched reality when it comes to stories involving the Trump family.

The network’s reluctance to issue even a correction suggests it is comfortable letting falsehoods linger if they help their broader anti-Trump agenda.

Interestingly, the supposed “conflict of interest” that Psaki tried to hype up fell apart under even the most basic scrutiny.

While President Trump and his administration officials met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Eric and his wife Lara were not in diplomatic meetings at all.

They toured the Great Wall of China.

That is hardly the place where merger deals get done, unless Psaki thinks they were carving trade agreements into stone.

For conservatives, this dust-up is another reminder of the two-tier media standard that plagues modern journalism.

If a Biden family member joins an official trip while sitting on overseas business boards, establishment media shrugs and calls it routine diplomacy.

But when a Trump shows up, even in a parental capacity, the same outlets lose their collective minds searching for a nonexistent scandal.

Eric Trump’s legal challenge could force Psaki and MS NOW to account for their reckless commentary.

Whether the lawsuit sticks is yet to be seen, but one thing is clear: conservatives are growing tired of letting the media fabricate stories without consequences.

This is not simply about Eric Trump’s reputation; it is about holding high-profile journalists to the same accountability they pretend to demand from everyone else.

The era of unchallenged liberal media spin might finally be drawing to a close.

If nothing else, this legal confrontation proves that conservatives will not just sit back and take the smears anymore.

Psaki may have expected her words to disappear into the airwaves, but Eric Trump’s response has turned those words into the basis of a legal firestorm she cannot ignore.

Warning: Account balances and purchasing power no longer tell the same story. Know in 2 minutes if your retirement is working for you.
