EXCLUSIVE: GOP Mirrors Soros’ Secretary Of State Project — This Time To Boost Election Integrity

The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is launching a new election integrity effort nationwide, poised to reverse much of the damage done by George Soros’ Secretary of State (SoS) Project, the Daily Caller learned.

The RSLC announced that its Election Protection Initiative (EPI) will implement a clear “election integrity framework for Republican secretaries of state and candidates seeking office in 2026,” according to a Tuesday press release obtained exclusively by the Caller. The initiative is launched ahead of 26 secretary of state elections this year alone.

EPI will act as the inverse of Soros’ SoS project, which worked to liberalize election rules and elect Democrat secretaries of state throughout the early 2000s. (RELATED: Trump Admin Threatens To Pull Critical Federal Funds Unless States Adopt Election Integrity Measures)

Like Soros’ project, the RSLC recognizes the importance of having ideologically unified secretaries of state, as well as protecting elections.

“Voters deserve confidence that every legal vote is counted and that elections are administered fairly, securely, and transparently,” RSLC President Edith Jorge-Tuñón told the Caller. “The Election Protection Initiative establishes a clear set of principles that will guide our efforts in secretary of state races across the country and support leaders committed to protecting the integrity of our elections.”

The initiative establishes four core principles to strengthen election integrity, including cleaning voter rolls, promoting voter identification, advancing ballot-security measures, and ensuring there is transparency at every step of the way.

EPI plans to achieve these goals through bipartisan election observation, transparent reporting practices, post-election audits, and ballot-tracking systems. (RELATED: Democrats Are Turning Out In Droves — Even In MAGA Country)

RSLC boasts a longstanding tradition of promoting election integrity, including the 2021 Commission to Restore Public Confidence in Elections, which identified the best ways to protect elections and counteract voter fraud. The most recent Election Protection Initiative is just the latest continuation of this effort.
