Sen. John Fetterman discussed the potential release of government files related to unidentified aerial phenomena during an exchange with Jesse Watters, saying he would welcome the move and suggesting it could draw bipartisan interest.

“John Fetterman, Pennsylvania’s Democrat Senator, Senator, we might get to see the alien files,” Watters said.

“Yeah, that’d be incredible. I mean, I mean, this is, you know, I grew up and I was, you know, watching, like, The X Files. Now, if he’s going to release all the X Files, I mean, I think that could be a bipartisan thing, to finally realize what’s happening,” Fetterman replied.

Watters then asked whether the senator believes in extraterrestrial life.

“Do you believe they’re UFOs and there’s alien life outside?” Watters asked.

“I know, I mean, I think, I think what President Obama said, that the odds, because of how many trillions of planets and everything across the universe. I mean, I think life does exist, but the you know, how it could find us, or how you can explain some of those videos that you know that’s been released over the couple of years. So for for me now, if, if President Trump is going to release everything, I think that’s that’s fantastic, because I think America, I think in the world, would deserve,” Fetterman said.

Watters referenced President Trump’s comments about directing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to release the files.

“Yeah. The president says he’s going to have the secretary of war, Pete Hegseth, released those and and that’ll be nice to see someone who I think is from another planet, Gavin Newsom. They are pushing Gavin very hard to be the next Democrat nominee. Are you a Gavin Newsom fan?” Watters asked.

Fetterman responded that his views on California Gov. Gavin Newsom are nuanced.

“No. I mean, it’s not about a fan. I mean, of course.”

“Do you like Gavin Newsom?” Watters pressed.

“Do I like Yeah. I mean, I like him, personally. I don’t, I don’t agree with him, some of his, you know, views and certain things. California is a lot different than Pennsylvania, but, but, you know, technically, we are just Democrats, and now that’s why, you know, the Democratic Party has to be a big tent thing, and that’s why we can disagree on some things,” Fetterman said.

Watters also raised the issue of some Democrats reportedly planning to boycott the State of the Union address.

“Well, some of you guys aren’t showing up to the State of the Union. They’re going to boycott,” Watters said.
