Twitch streamer Hasan Piker named an American tech mogul living in China as the funder behind political movements in the United States during a recent broadcast.

Piker complained that federal agents were targeting him before telling viewers during a Monday livestream titled “FEDS ARE AFTER ME” that the real target of a Treasury Department probe is tech mogul Neville Roy Singham, Fox News reported. The streamer named CodePink, the ANSWER Coalition and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) among the groups Singham funds, the outlet reported.

“He’s been a funding vehicle for a lot of like political, uh, a lot of political movements in the country, a lot of activism,” Piker said, according to Fox News’ Asra Nomani in an X post.

Congressional investigators have argued for years that Singham-linked groups function as political vehicles while keeping their charitable status, Fox News reported. (RELATED: ‘They’re Up My Ass’: Everything You Need To Know About Feds’ Probe Into Left’s Favorite Influencer)

Singham, a tech tycoon based in Shanghai, has poured $278 million into pro-communist nonprofits since 2017, Fox News Digital previously reported. A House committee in February identified Singham as a donor with allegedly “close ties” to the Chinese Communist Party, according to a press release.

Piker’s remarks came after Fox News reported the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control had served him and CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin with administrative subpoenas tied to a March trip to Cuba called the Nuestra América Convoy. The agency is examining whether participants potentially violated U.S. sanctions “through the financing, coordination or delivery of goods” to the communist country, Fox News reported.

Piker and Benjamin reportedly disputed that account. Both told Drop Site News reporter Ryan Grim they had never been served, contradicting the Fox News report. Piker has said previously he learned of the purported probe through press coverage and had not been contacted by federal officials, Drop Site noted.

The streamer cast the matter as a campaign to silence Singham. “They’re trying to jam him up….That’s it. That’s the goal here….They get to chill speech,” Piker said, Fox News’ Nomani reported.
