John Fetterman Condemns Hanukkah Terror Attack, Questions Party’s Israel Stance [WATCH]

Sen. John Fetterman addressed rising antisemitism during an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo, responding to a terrorist attack in Australia that targeted Jews celebrating Hanukkah and resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The Pennsylvania Democrat spoke during the program as international and domestic concerns about antisemitism remain in focus.

Bartiromo opened the discussion by asking Fetterman for his response to the attack and the broader trend of antisemitic violence.

“Your reaction to what has taken place?” Bartiromo asked.

“We should all universally condemn all of these things,” Fetterman said.

He continued by describing the nature of the attack. “Just imagine, two people, you know, organized to try to kill as many Jews as possible,” Fetterman said.

The discussion centered on what Fetterman described as “epidemic levels” of antisemitism, with the senator noting that the issue extends beyond a single incident or country.

“Look at the races you know, for the Senate in the 2026 cycle. You know, one of the signature issues is being anti-Israel,” Fetterman explained.

He added that he does not understand the direction his party has taken on the issue. “I can’t imagine why that’s becoming more and more part of my party’s platform,” Fetterman continued.

Bartiromo then asked whether he believed he could influence change within the Senate on the issue of antisemitism and U.S. policy toward Israel.

“Is there something that you believe you can do to affect change in the Senate?” she asked.

Fetterman responded by emphasizing his role as an individual lawmaker. “Well, what I can do is I can control my voice and my vote,” Fetterman said.
