NEW: Report Proves Biden’s War on Pro-Life Activists Was Real, and Spectacular; UPDATED

The Department of Justice launched a corrupt campaign to weaponize its prosecutorial power against its political opponents. According to a new internal investigation, the Attorney General partnered with political organizations to deny dissenters their civil rights, cooked up criminal cases out of whole cloth, and used federal law enforcement to terrorize their opponents and shut down protests and dissent.

So when do we see action against Donald Trump and Pam Bondi? Hold up there, pardner. This took place in Joe Biden’s administration under the direction of Merrick Garland, and the targets were pro-life activists. Biden and Garland used the FACE Act to punish pro-life activists who protested legally as a means to shut down opposition to the abortion mills. And they deputized Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups to do so:

The Department of Justice under former President Joe Biden “withheld evidence” and approved “aggressive arrest tactics” when targeting pro-life defendants — and then slapped them with longer prison sentences than pro-abortion ones, according to an explosive internal review released Tuesday.

The DOJ revealed the stunning abuses in a nearly 900-page report after examining more than 700,000 records related to the Biden administration’s prosecutions under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. …

Former Attorney General Merrick Garland set up a national task force to pursue cases against pro-lifers the month after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022.

Emails show the task force, led by civil division trial attorney Sanjay Patel, worked closely with Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Feminist Majority Foundation and the National Abortion Federation (NAF) Security Team to initiate investigations and “monitor” pro-life activists — sometimes for years — before requesting arrest warrants and filing charges.

This is entirely despicable. The Protection Racket Media has scoffed at the “weaponization of government” investigation in Congress, but this is precisely what those probes targeted. This is a stunning abuse of power intended to target political opponents to intimidate them into silence. Answer: hell, no. The Protection Racket Media was in on it. 

These grotesque abuses of power by the DoJ during the Biden Regency are not anomalous at all. They are part of a larger pattern of abuse of power during Biden’s term, and not just by the DoJ. Under Biden, the State Department and the Department of Health and Human Services went on a censorship spree under the guise of fighting “misinformation” that forced social-media platforms to silence critics of Biden policies on a wide range of topics, most intensely on COVID-19 policies. The Protection Racket Media piled onto the Orwellian speech-suppression efforts by hyperventilating about Russian intelligence and conspiracy theorists as a threat, rather than focusing on the very real threat of a government that exercised the power to declare its approved narratives as the only received Truth allowed in public forums. 

It’s not even anomalous within Merrick Garland’s DoJ and FBI. Let’s not forget Garland’s efforts to turn parental protests over DEI policies in Virginia schools into a narrative of “domestic terrorism” for merely speaking up at school board meetings. The FBI attempted to turn the Latin Mass into a form of radical Catholic domestic terrorism too, an effort that went well beyond Director Christopher Wray’s attempts to minimize during congressional testimony. Garland weaponized the DoJ on several fronts to go after Biden’s opponents on policy and the Left’s opponents on culture.

Merrick Garland may well be the most despicable Attorney General in modern American history, and Joe Biden the worst president in the same period. No other administration abused power in this manner to censor and suppress dissent since at least the Woodrow Wilson White House during World War I. This is a disgrace and a constitutional scandal, and you’d better believe the Protection Racket Media will do everything in its power to bury it.

We need to see investigations and prosecutions. Nothing else will serve to disincentivize this kind of abuse.
