A federal grand jury in San Antonio has indicted a 22-year-old New Braunfels woman accused of trying to set fire to the Comal County Republican Party Headquarters, a brazen act that authorities say was politically motivated, as reported by Breitbart.

The indictment accuses Grace Carol Brown of attempting to destroy the GOP office and nearby businesses using fire, a federal offense that carries serious prison time.

According to the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas, Justin R. Simmons, the indictment charges Brown with actual and attempted malicious damage by fire to property involved in interstate or foreign commerce.

The attack took place on January 14 when the GOP building was targeted in what investigators say was a deliberate attempt to burn down a political office.

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

Court documents paint a disturbing picture of Brown’s actions that night. Investigators allege that she smashed a building window, threw a backpack filled with fuel inside, and then tried but failed to climb through the broken glass.

Prosecutors say she lit a rolled magazine on fire and tossed it through the opening before fleeing the scene, leaving evidence scattered behind.

Inside the building, investigators discovered the charred remains of a note left at the crime scene. The writing, blurred in parts by the Department of Justice for obscenities, contained a profane message declaring war on the Republican Party and the Trump administration.

The language left little doubt about the attacker’s political motives or her contempt for conservative values.

The note reportedly read, “Report this: I burned down the Nazi Party of NB’s office. F%$# DJT F%$# ICE, Liberty or die.”

A federal grand jury in San Antonio returned an indictment charging a New Braunfels woman with the alleged arson attack.

Law enforcement officials say the message is filled with the sort of radical leftist rhetoric that has become increasingly common among Antifa inspired activists who treat conservatives as enemies rather than fellow Americans.

When agents searched the backpack left at the scene, they reportedly found ethanol, gasoline containers, a lighter, matches, and other incendiary materials.

Investigators also uncovered writings attributed to Brown that repeatedly expressed “disdain for the goals and activities” of the Comal County GOP headquarters.

She did not stop there, reportedly naming federal agencies such as ICE and Executive Branch officials as “Enemies of the U.S. Constitution.”

Perhaps most telling was the symbol drawn on the note, the Drei Pfeile or “three arrows” emblem, which originated in 1930s Germany as a socialist symbol and has been revived by modern Antifa aligned groups.

The same image has been seen on banners, flags, and social media profiles of activists who claim to be fighting “fascism” but often resort to political violence themselves.

Brown’s arrest came just days after the attempted arson, thanks to quick action by New Braunfels Police, the local Fire Marshal’s Office, and the FBI.

Law enforcement officials say the speed of the investigation prevented further attacks and possibly saved property and lives. The evidence linking Brown to the crime was overwhelming, according to court filings.

In addition to the federal charges outlined in the indictment, Brown also faces state-level charges of burglary and arson. The federal counts carry potential sentences of five to twenty years in prison if she is convicted.

Sentencing would be determined by a federal district court judge under the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines once all statutory factors are considered.

The case raises troubling questions about the growing climate of political extremism that has targeted conservatives across the country.

From vandalized campaign offices to outright violent attacks, many GOP organizations and candidates find themselves on the receiving end of the rage of the radical left.

More often than not, these incidents are glossed over by corporate media outlets that reserve their outrage for acts that fit a different political narrative.

Texans familiar with the New Braunfels area expressed shock but not surprise at the politically charged nature of the attack.

For years, small-town Republicans have faced increasing hostility as progressive activism grows more militant and intolerant of dissenting viewpoints.

This latest incident is seen by many as another example of far-left agitation spilling out into real-world violence.

As the investigation proceeds, federal prosecutors are expected to present evidence of Brown’s alleged ideological motivations.

Law enforcement officials will likely highlight the use of symbols linked to Antifa and the choice of a GOP target as key factors showing political intent.

The combination of fuel, fire, and extremist messaging makes this case a clear example of political intimidation by violence.

Whatever her motives, Brown’s actions have put her in line for a long legal battle and possibly years behind bars. For the Texas Republican Party, the failed attack serves as both a warning and a rallying cry.

Despite efforts by some on the left to silence conservative organizations through fear, the resilience of Texans who believe in law and order and free political expression remains unbroken.
