Actress Taryn Manning is at the center of a newly released video that appears to show a heated confrontation between her and Holly Hartman, a woman she has known for years, according to footage obtained by TMZ on Monday.

As Page Six reported, in the clip, Manning, known for her roles in “Orange Is the New Black” and “8 Mile,” is seen arguing with Hartman, who appears to be recording the incident.

The exchange quickly escalates as Manning shouts, “Look what you’ve done to my f–king studio!” before threatening to call the police.

Hartman responds in the video, “Call the police. I’ll show them you just attacked me.” When Manning denies the accusation, Hartman replies, “Yeah, you did. I have it.”

As the argument continues, Manning appears to move toward Hartman in what looks like a lunge before the video abruptly ends.

This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year

Following the release of the footage, Manning addressed the situation in an Instagram video posted Tuesday. In that video, she said she did not want to watch the TMZ clip, stating, “because I don’t want to upset myself.”

Manning also commented on the situation, saying, “I know that violence is never, ever, ever good,” while offering her account of the circumstances surrounding the altercation.

She claimed Hartman has been staying in her office, describing her as allegedly homeless.

“This is a 36-year-old woman that I have tried for so long, for 18 years, to try to help,” Manning said in the video.

The actress also disputed the nature of their relationship, saying Hartman is not her “girlfriend,” but instead “a random girl that was a fan that I befriended 18 years ago.”

She added, “It’s too much. She’s crazy,” and continued, “It’s bad. This is bad.”

Representatives for Manning did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The video and public statements come against the backdrop of a long and complicated history between Manning and Hartman. According to reports cited by TMZ, Hartman previously worked as Manning’s makeup artist.

In 2016, Hartman filed a restraining order against Manning following an alleged physical altercation. The request was denied because it was filed in Los Angeles while the alleged incident took place in New York.

Court documents from that time reportedly included claims by Hartman that Manning headbutted her and then “whipped me with a wet towel. Sprayed Windex in eyes and mouth. Put me in a headlock, cutting off air.”

Hartman also alleged that Manning said:

“Pick a knife. I’m wearing a white shirt. There will be a lot of blood. You will be famous for killing Taryn Manning.”

Earlier incidents were also documented. In 2012, Manning was arrested in connection with an alleged altercation involving Hartman at the Dream Hotel in New York City.

Reports indicated that during that incident, Manning allegedly punched Hartman in the face, kicked her in the face and torso, scratched her, choked her, and grabbed her by the hair before slamming her against the floor and wall.

Manning was charged with two misdemeanor offenses, assault in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Both charges were later dropped.

The newly surfaced video and Manning’s response have brought renewed attention to the relationship between the two women and the history of disputes that have been documented over more than a decade.
