Ted Cruz, Powerful Dem Congressman Linked To Secret Society That Talks Sex, Cults And WW3: Report

Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic Connecticut Rep. Jim Himes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, were among numerous powerful names linked to a secret society co-founded by right-wing billionaire Peter Thiel in 2006, according to a report published Tuesday.

Wired reported on leaked internal records from the Dialog group, a secretive, invitation-only retreat that brings together powerful U.S. and foreign government officials, as well as Silicon Valley elites, at an annual, off-the-record meeting. The outlet reported the retreat has featured group discussions about an assortment of topics, with prompts such as “How’s Your Sex Life?”, “Build-a-Cult”, and “Navigating WWIII”, among others. The leaked records show an “extraordinary convergence of power,” Wired reported. The Dialog website directory named two current Trump administration officials, two U.S. senators, members of the “PayPal Mafia“, a former Middle East chief of intelligence, a current ambassador to the U.S., and numerous founders and executives from the largest surveillance and data-broker firms in the country, according to the outlet.

The records also show that General Alexus Grynkewich, who became NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and the head of U.S. European Command in 2025, has attended meetings since 2021, according to Wired.

Cruz’s name appeared in a directory alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Wired reported. This directory included the name of Dialog’s chairman, Auren Hoffman, who founded SafeGraph and LiveRamp, two major companies focused on consumer data, according to Wired.

The outlet noted that the Treasury Department regulates financial data and that Cruz is the chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee — a powerful congressional body that oversees the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Himes’ name appeared in a list with U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and billionaire Joe Lonsdale, a co-founder of the AI surveillance firm Palantir. The company currently has several contracts with the U.S. government and maintains close ties with the Trump White House.

It is unclear whether Cruz and Himes are longtime participants, one-time guests, or have just received an invitation to join the retreat.

Cruz and Himes’ offices did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the Daily Caller.

The 2026 retreat is scheduled for August 12-16 in a location near Dublin, Ireland, according to Wired.
