Charlie Kirk ‘Would Have Been the Next President’ Says Jake Paul During Interview [WATCH]

Boxer and influencer Jake Paul said in a recent interview that he believes Charlie Kirk would have eventually been elected president, reflecting on Kirk’s political ambitions following his death, as reported by Fox News.

Paul made the comments during a conversation with Theo Von, discussing Kirk’s influence and future in politics. Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.

During the interview, Paul described Kirk as someone whose path toward higher office appeared clear.

Becoming president, he said, “was like his job and his purpose and all of that,” adding that “Charlie Kirk was clearly going to be the next president.”

Paul said his own potential interest in politics has come up, but he contrasted his background with Kirk’s more direct involvement in political activism.

The influencer, who has built a large following online and transitioned into boxing and business ventures, has also aligned himself with President Donald Trump in recent years.

During a March 13 rally in Hebron, Kentucky, Trump publicly offered Paul a “complete and total endorsement” should he decide to pursue public office.

Paul told Von that he had considered entering politics but raised concerns about the risks involved. He referenced the current political climate and said that violence against public figures is a factor in his thinking.

Kirk’s death was discussed in that context, with Paul noting the circumstances surrounding the shooting at Utah Valley University.

Despite those concerns, Paul said he has thought about political involvement in terms of contributing to society.

“I think it goes back to Marcus Aurelius, of, like, helping society, and like that’s the number one thing you can do,” he said.

Paul added that he could see himself entering politics under certain conditions.

He stated that if there is a “dumba** running and opposing, I will enter the game and risk getting assassinated, but I don’t want to.”

Von responded by suggesting that Paul could be suited for a political role.

“I could see you running. I could see something like that,” Von said.

“It does take something inside of people. I feel like they feel a sense of purpose and a calling to something. And if they can make sure that that’s not just attached to their own ego, and they can make sure that there is a sense of like, ‘I can do something better, and I’m willing to put myself out there to do that.’”

Paul also referenced Trump when discussing the demands of public office, noting the personal and family impact associated with the role.

“Like Charlie would have been the guy. It’s f*cking sad, bro. He’s so f*cking awesome.”

Paul said he did not have a personal relationship with Kirk but followed his public work and social media presence.

“He was like aiming for it, though,” Paul said.
