There were some incredible fireworks from FBI Director Kash Patel’s testimony in front of the Senate yesterday.
I mean, any time I hear Spartacus warm up his pipes and get a well-deserved smackdown in return that also takes out sleazy Adam Schiff, it just puts a smile on my face.
Democrat Senator Cory Booker: “This is ridiculous! What a mockery you are!”
FBI Director Patel: “You are the biggest mockery in the United States Senate and you’re sitting next to Schiff.” pic.twitter.com/KTYNRfYhJW

But what was really the meat of the matter, if you can get through the blowhard Democratic theater kids and their performances to get material for campaign ads, were the statistics that Patel brought with him.
It’s no wonder the man looks exhausted. These guys are rolling up wins at a cyclical rate.
IN 2025, THE UNITED STATES SAW THE GREATEST DROP IN VIOLENT CRIME AND MURDER RATES OF ALL TIME
The numbers don’t lie.
→ 31,000 gangbangers GONE
→ 2,700 criminal gangs disrupted or dismantled
→ 54,000 violent crime arrests
→ Homicides down 18%+
→ Robberies down 19%
→ Aggravated assaults down 7%+
→ 3,200+ KG of fentanyl seized—enough to kill 247 MILLION Americans
→… pic.twitter.com/KBPh3Qv2Et— FBI Director Kash Patel (@FBIDirectorKash) September 15, 2026
→ 11,081 child victims located
→ 5,000+ child predators and human traffickers arrested
Historic results. Safer streets. Safer children. Safer America.
These numbers don’t get out enough.
Patel’s compatriots have also been busy.
The Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI are tearing up the fraud industry, too. Just like the crime numbers, so many people will pooh-pooh, ‘Oh, it’s just $10 million’ or ‘when do we get it back,‘ and not once look at the fact that shutting down these operations wholesale, the way this administration has been, is the start, and the savings going forward we’ve needed, at a rate no one ever did before.
If they ever bothered to at all.
Another massive operation just yielded multiple arrests in San Diego last Thursday…
Department of Justice to Unveil Significant Charges Related to Childcare Fraud in San Diego Tomorrow at 11 AM. I’ll be there.

…USA v. Mohamad Salim Alawad and USA v. Mazin Salim Alawad are set to be announced at a federal press conference on childcare fraud.
According to divorce court records I researched, Mohamad claimed he was making $20,000 per month from his daycare.
Alawad, Mohamad Family Child Care
He also owned Safe Journey Transportation Inc., a non-emergency transportation company, with his brother Mazin, who is also charged. So he had a daycare and a NEMT company.
Here is a Facebook video of Mohamad bragging about his Mercedes-Benz and watch.
…and the feds announced it yesterday.
Fraudsters FOILED in San Diego.
A dozen individuals were arrested for their role in a multi-million-dollar childcare fraud scheme.

These were ghost daycare schemes. Lots of daycares and no children.
Twelve individuals are facing federal fraud charges after an investigation revealed that more than $10 million intended to help low-income families pay for childcare was instead funneled to bogus daycare providers.
In a coordinated takedown early Thursday morning, more than 250 federal, state and local law enforcement officials arrested all 12 defendants and executed 12 search warrants at homes in San Diego purported to be used as daycare facilities. The defendants are naturalized U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents originally from Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
“These charges underscore a simple truth: anyone who steals from programs meant to support children will face swift and uncompromising accountability,” said Assistant Attorney General Colin M. McDonald of the Justice Department’s National Fraud Enforcement Division. “Fraud against these programs is an attack on vulnerable families, and law enforcement will continue to dismantle schemes that exploit them. I want to thank the prosecutors and agents in the Southern District of California whose relentless work exposed this scheme and ensured that those responsible are being held accountable.”
Much as with the Learing Centers in Tim Walz’s Minneapolis…
…While the 12 federal complaints are unrelated, the scheme was essentially the same: Defendants obtained a California license to operate a home childcare facility and registered with Child Development Associates (CDA) and the YMCA to provide subsidized childcare to eligible families. To receive government-funded payments, the defendants were required to submit monthly attendance records accurately documenting the dates and times they provided care to each child.
Instead, the defendants knowingly submitted false attendance records claiming they provided childcare on dates and at times when they did not. They also falsely certified, under penalty of perjury, that the information was true and correct. CDA and the YMCA relied on those fraudulent records and issued payments with federal funds intended to pay for childcare actually provided to low-income families.
…DOJ says they are naturalized U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents originally from Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
The scam was ghost daycares. They got California licenses, billed Child Development Associates and the YMCA for kids who were never there, and signed the attendance sheets under penalty of perjury.
Each defendant pulled in between $538,000 and $1.2 million. One guy claimed he watched 23 to 25 kids every day for two months. Surveillance covering 57 of those days showed children at the house on exactly one day, the day a state inspector showed up. Another defendant billed for January while border records show she was outside the United States and still collected about $14,970.
Wire fraud. Some also face money laundering. First charges of this kind since DOJ stood up the National Fraud Enforcement Division. Tax dollars for kids who were never in the room.
Denaturalize and deport every single fraudster.
According to San Diego’s independent reporter Amy Reichert, one of these scammers jumped into the fraud nearly the second his little toes hit U.S. soil.
Within two years of immigrating, they were fraudulently collecting tax dollars.
Here is a ghost daycare where a man was arrested in San Diego. 11 out of the 12 arrests were refugees who started committing fraud just 2 years after entering the United States & the DOJ says they stole MILLIONS from taxpayers. pic.twitter.com/CI3DEgzH73

God dang – it shouldn’t be that easy, you know?
But those out there now operating are doing so while looking over their shoulders, no matter what state they are in. California is one of the easiest to get away with, and yet there were over 250 law enforcement officers arriving in the dark to scoop up fraudsters and that all-important evidence.
Nervous people make mistakes sooner, and there have to be an inordinate number of very nervous scammers worried about knocks – or no knocks – at their phony business doors.
It is lather, rinse, repeat all over the country cleaning this up.
I’ll end this post with another Patel moment. It concerns that famous FBI ‘Ten Most Wanted List,’ which has been home to some famous faces over the decades.
He went 10/10. @FBIDirectorKash just stunted all over the Democrats in his opening testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
And that last line he dropped was ICE COLD.

…Patel revealed that the FBI has now captured TEN out of TEN of the most wanted fugitives on its list.
That included a new capture who is currently on his way back to the U.S. from Venezuela.
PATEL: “In 2025, according to the Uniform Crime Report, we delivered the largest reduction in the murder rate in the history of America.”
“We, the FBI, captured more than two and a half times the number of the top ten most wanted fugitives on the FBI’s list, from the prior administration.”
“In fact, Mr. chairman, I’m proud to announce today, and I hate to correct you, we haven’t captured nine of the top ten most [wanted] individuals on our list. We’ve captured ten.”
“Just this past weekend, we captured a thug down in Venezuela who was on our most wanted list and on the run for years.”
“He has been captured, apprehended and is on his way back to the United States of America.”
“That’s ten of ten. Nobody in the FBI history has done that.”
Wow.
BOOMITY
They’re going to need new pictures and, sadly, someone’s always willing to step up.
But for the first time ever, the FBI has cleared the board.
The stuff you never hear about, huh?
That’s mid-term red meat right there. That’s why.
