Democrats Seem to Want a New Civil War

Democrats would have you believe that the Republicans started the first Civil War in order to preserve slavery, which is quite on-brand with their fondness for rewriting history. 

Now they are agitating for a new Civil War, again based on a long series of what amount to racial grievances, although this time the target of their hate is white people. Same basic theme, just a new set of enemies to demonize and wage war against.

The slander that Republicans are racists has been floating around for a very long time, but over the past few months and years, the frequency and loudness have reached a new level, along with talks of “war,” “revolution,” “maximum warfare,” and outright assassination talk and attempts. 

Democrats are screaming bloody murder, in some cases literally, about the recent Supreme Court decision that mandates that the drawing of Congressional maps must be color blind. It doesn’t even matter if the new Congressmen elected might be black; what matters is that they are Democrats.

The theory is simple: Democrats, as when they owned the slaves, own the black vote. A black Republican Senator is a House Negro in their eyes, and doesn’t count as true black representation. 

A white man in Tennessee who is a Democrat counts as black, and a black woman in Tennessee counts as white. 

Notice the shifting goalposts.

In South Carolina, it’s about having a black person in Congress.

But in Tennessee, because the Democrat being booted is white and his probable GOP replacement is black, it’s suddenly not.

But those are just details. What isn’t is the calls for violence and revolution, which are picking up steam. 

AOC on the new Tennessee Congressional map which would eliminate the last Democrat seat:

Tim Walz was the first sitting governor since the Civil War who actually declared that he was at war with the federal government, although other Democrats have hinted at much the same thing, threatening to use force against federal officials. Not even George Wallace did that.

Since then, the rhetoric has only escalated. Hakeem Jeffries has declared that he will wage “Maximum Warfare, Everywhere All the Time,” and when asked about that after the latest assassination attempt on President Trump, he said he “didn’t give a damn.”

The language of elimination is getting closer and closer to outright calls for violence, and I believe that this is very strategic on the part of Democrats.

Hasan Piker and Graham Platner, two of the current darlings of the Democrats, are both openly calling for revolution, and it is precisely because they are doing so that they have become rising stars.

Janet Mills, one of the most “progressive” governors in America, was tossed on the trash heap because the left found somebody willing to train Antifa in gun tactics and call himself a communist revolutionary. 

Hakeem Jeffries’ brother is more explicit than he, but the message is much the same: the country can only be cleansed with the blood of white people. 

John Brown understood that only way to free America from the scourge of white supremacy was to get rid of white supremacists by any means necessary.

Leftists are hearing the message and posting videos online detailing how they want to assassinate President Trump or start a revolution. Cultural leaders are making plays celebrating Luigi Mangione, and The New York Times now carries podcasts with Hasan Piker explaining why murdering innocent people is a political statement.

Jonathan Turley calls this the “Age of Rage,” where politicians stoke fury for political benefit. Even Abigail Spanberger, who pretended to be a moderate, called on people to harness their rage, and her colleague Jay Jones got elected because he expressed his desire to see his political opponents die and have that man’s children die in their mother’s arms. 

There are about 60 members of the House who are black — a record. Many are elected from plurality white districts.

I’m not sure that the Democrats want a full-fledged Civil War II, but they sure want violence, and they want race politics to be at the core of the battle.
