Currently, Democrats appear to be divided into two camps over their Maine U.S. Senate candidate, Graham ‘Would You Prefer to Visit Mein Kampf or Yours?’ Platner. He’s the nepo baby, phony baloney oysterfürher with the roguish twinkle in his eye, the Totenkopf tattoo emblazoned on his hairy chest, and noted for possessing quite a legendary way with the ladies.
Everyone’s talking about it.
This has created a bit of division about the blustering blowhard’s candidacy.
In the, ‘Ooh, ICK‘ camp, the first line of detractors are the ‘I told you so’s.’ Those stalwarts in the Democratic camp who kept saying, ‘This guy’s a dirtball. No one should touch him with a ten-foot pole,’ citing that his own campaign manager resigned only ten months into the campaign, saying:

What did she get for her honesty and the integrity it took to dump a good-paying gig?
Relentlessly attacked by power-mad Democrats and progressives, so hungry for a win, they were going to back the dirtball come hell or high water.

Big tent people closed those flaps real fast when a certain camel nosed underneath.
They still have them open for other Democratic Socialists of America/communist members who haven’t been credibly accused of raping liberal women.
Then there’s the other side of the divide, all of whom are firmly on the ICK train. Some are simply more coy about it than others.
Some, like Mrs Morning Joe, disguise their disgust at the brouhaha over the Platner breaking and entering and rape accusation as the defense of responsible journalism.
A woman who raises such a complaint against a Democratic candidate, according to noted investigative reporter Mika Brezinski, should at least have a police report to back up whatever she says happened, wouldn’t you think?
How… irresponsible… to publish such a damaging story without law-enforcement corroboration… no?

The shocking thing is that these apologists, all of whom were totally onboard with the undocumented and unverified bulls**t rape fantasies spun by Christine Blasey Ford and Jean Carroll, which had not a single shred of corroborating evidence – hell, it seemed neither woman could remember anything, conveniently – now suddenly need a police blotter notation for an accusation with accompanying documentation. Before they might ‘believe’ a woman.
Progressive women are the loudest protestors and first to be outraged about this sin or that, but if it impacts them adversely, they volte face to the most conniving, least moral, most cutthroat females I have ever met.
