‘Fauci’s a War Criminal and Obama’s Legacy Is Finished’ [WATCH]

Actor Daniel Baldwin has sharply reversed his past support for Barack Obama and Dr. Anthony Fauci, publicly calling both men criminals and arguing that they belong in prison.

The actor described his political transformation during an appearance on Bill O’Reilly’s We’ll Do It Live! podcast.

O’Reilly asked Baldwin about actors feeling pressure to present themselves as politically left-wing in order to find work in the entertainment industry.

Baldwin said that pressure has existed in Hollywood for a long time and acknowledged that he once participated in that culture.

Baldwin now describes himself as a political “crossover” who moved from the left to the right.

Looking back, he expressed regret about his previous support for Obama and said he now views the former president very differently.

“I was a Democrat. I supported Barack Obama,” Baldwin said.

He then predicted trouble for Obama and suggested that the former president’s reputation would eventually suffer.

Baldwin declared, “His legacy will be destroyed. He’s a criminal in my opinion.”

He also acknowledged his own previous involvement while explaining why he did not recognize the problems he now claims to see.

“But I was part of it so I didn’t really notice it. Now my phone never rings now,” Baldwin said.

His remarks connected his political shift with the lack of calls he currently receives.

Baldwin also directed severe criticism at Fauci while discussing his own podcast.

“I have a podcast that I come right out and call Anthony Fauci a war criminal,” he exclaimed.

He repeated the accusation and demanded prison time for Fauci and others.

“He’s a war criminal. He should go to prison, for sure.”

Baldwin said his current political position is not popular within Hollywood.

“And a lot of the rest of them. So it’s not popular to be on this side,” he said while referring to the right side of the political aisle.

The actor also discussed what he described as a Hollywood blacklist affecting conservative performers.

He argued that conservative creators are beginning to reject the “woke BS” that he believes has influenced the entertainment industry.

As examples of careers that have stalled, Baldwin pointed to actors Dean Cain and Scott Baio.

He also claimed many conservative actors avoid speaking openly because they fear that doing so could cost them their Hollywood careers.

Despite those pressures, Baldwin predicted that significant changes are coming to the industry.

“You’re going to see production and stuff change in Hollywood in the next decade,” away from wokeness, he predicted during the conversation.

The podcast appearance was not Baldwin’s first public criticism of political figures on the left.

In 2016, he scolded Democrats who claimed that Donald Trump had somehow stolen the election.

Politics have also affected Baldwin’s relationship with his brother, Alec. Last year,

Baldwin revealed that political disagreements had come between them and said during a podcast that they were no longer speaking.

“Alec and I don’t even talk,” Baldwin said of the fractured communication with his leftist brother.

His latest comments show how completely his politics have changed since he supported Obama and participated in the Hollywood environment he now criticizes.

Baldwin’s remarks to O’Reilly combined regret about his past political support with blunt attacks on Obama and Fauci.

At the same time, he portrayed his conservative position as professionally unpopular and predicted that Hollywood production will move away from wokeness during the next decade.
