One of the more despicable characters in politics over the course of the past fifteen years or so – I mean, so grossly offensive in his nature and off-putting in personality that if sleazy scuzzball had an illustration in the Merriam-Webster, it would be a tiny picture of the revolting Eric Swalwell, complete with current greasy five o’clock shadow and finger up nose.
His appearance perfectly reflected how he operated. Bald-faced lies, insinuations, denials, smirking superiority- Swalwell had the whole bad-boy schtick going. And why wouldn’t he? Basically, he was Nancy Pelosi’s chosen attack pug. A shameless, brainless mongrel, taken off the streets and groomed to be nearly presentable, but one who would respond to her cues and strike where directed without a twinge of conscience or remorse.
Literally a protected political animal.
Who else could have what was coyly termed an ‘association’ with a known Chinese spy and still have the clearances to be in Congress? Only someone with the speaker’s shield of steel, although they did boot him from the Intel Committee in 2023. He paid for her umbrella of protection with his unflinching dirty deeds in political spheres.
That sweet Mafiaoso-style world of immunity for the hitman lasted until this past April. Swalwell was in the hunt – and the favorite – for the California governor’s seat. It all came a-tumblin’ down with breathtaking speed as formerly supine media outlets turned against him and actually reported on Swalwell’s alleged epic misbehaviors.
Whatever the reason, it was obvious a hit had gone out on a player no longer an asset to the team.
As John said at the beginning of this past May, there was a bimbo eruption the likes of which even God had never seen, and everyone wanted in on crushing Swalwell.
Exactly three weeks ago, Eric Swalwell announced he was resigning his congressional seat. He formally resigned the next day. That decision, and his prior decision to leave the California governor’s race were the result of two stories about him, one by the SF Chronicle and one by CNN. One more woman came forward on the day that Swalwell resigned and since then the story has gone quiet.
Until today. Today CNN has another story designed to make the rubble of Swalwell’s career bounce. It reveals that many more women had come forward with stories to tell.
At the same time that Swalwell was ducking bimbo eruptions, he was also facing Kash Patel, who was publicly threatening to go dumpster diving into the real story of Eric and Fang Fang.
Swalwell was incensed at reports that Patel was considering reopening the long-closed Fang Fang files, particularly as he’d been so cooperative during the entire investigation.
THE FBI GAVE ME A PARTICIPATION STAR – STOP WEAPONIZING GOVERNMENT
Congressman Eric Swalwell spoke Monday morning about reports that the FBI may release files about an old investigation into Swalwell’s connection with a suspected Chinese spy.
The investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing by Swalwell, who has been a vocal critic of President Trump and is the leading candidate for California governor.
“This case is closed. The FBI said all we did was help. This effort to weaponize the FBI against the president’s political enemy at a time that we are at war shows a distraction; it shows an obsession of the going after political opponents,” said Swalwell.
Swalwell threatened to sue, then suggested that Patel’s proposed fishing expedition was in retaliation for a relationship he’d had years ago with a Congressional intern who was now the wife of White House advisor Stephen Miller.
Whatever the reason, it didn’t seem like anyone was that interested in the scuzzy, has-been operator from California anymore.
Oh, little did we know what Patel was doing under the quiet and serene surface with the support of the new, Todd Blanche-led Department of Justice.
On Monday, the bomb dropped that Fang Fang had been more than just an occasional date of the then-congressman. Besides the bang-bang part of their relationship, the skeevey sleezster was obliging enough to place his little Chinese honey’s girlfriends (read: trained intelligence operatives) in congressional offices as interns.
Now, that’s ‘helpful.
…The files provide significant new details about the long-rumored relationship between Fang and Swalwell, including that:
- The FBI initially wanted to investigate the congressman for a bribery scheme in which he exchanged donations from Fang for her planting interns in his office, but eventually decided to narrow the case to seek criminal charges only against Fang for making illegal donations to the California Democrat through conduits.
- Swalwell admitted to having sex with Fang, his staff placing Fang’s interns in Congress and not having a strong enough campaign finance system to detect the straw donations she allegedly passed through U.S.-citizen conduits.
- The Justice Department declined to prosecute Fang despite strong evidence of the illicit donations after she fled the U.S. as the FBI began interviewing her associates and raided her home. The early steps in the investigation were overseen in part by controversial prosecutor Jack Smith, who would later pursue Donald Trump on criminal charges.
- The FBI was recruiting Fang to be a confidential informant through an undercover agent, assigned her the code name Rusty Thumbs, planned to hire her through a cutout company and was still evaluating her suitability as a confidential human source when they discovered her alleged criminal behavior.
- The FBI knew early on during the recruitment that Fang was tied to China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), Beijing’s notorious intelligence service. The bureau also identified her parents as MSS agents, knew she was raising money for California Democrats and was willing to use sex as a means of getting ahead in the world of U.S. politics.
I mean, Swalwell flat-out admits everything to Obama’s FBI, during an investigation the bureau had started back in 2014. Much of it under (see above bullet points) the direction of one Jack Smith.
… In a 2015 interview with the FBI, then-Congressman Swalwell told agents that he first met Fang in 2012, during his first congressional campaign. He admitted to the agents that he had “physical relations with Fang” on multiple occasions, according to the FBI summary. In a subsequent interview in 2016, Swalwell detailed one incident where Fang showed up at his door, after which Swalwell said they “hooked up,” according to the interview summary.
In that second interview, Swalwell confirmed that Fang did refer interns to both his campaign and congressional offices. He noted that he and his staff treated Fang’s referrals as coming from the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Associations (APAPA), an important constituent group in his district.
“FANG was unique when it came to interns, because SWALWELL saw FANG as connected to the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Associations (APAPA) and [redacted],” the 2016 interview summary reads.
“SWALWELL viewed anyone that FANG put forward for an internship as coming from APAPA,” it adds. “A significant portion of SWALWELL’s constituents are Chinese American and diversity is important.”
Did Swalwell know he was among friends? Because nothing happened. Nothing.
…Eventually, however, after interviewing Swalwell on multiple occasions, the FBI determined that the investigation had found no violations of federal statutes by the congressman. As a result, the FBI eventually reclassified the probe on February 8, 2017, dropping Swalwell as a subject and focusing the investigation solely on Fang’s alleged violations of campaign finance laws.
And we all assumed it would stay that way, reading this with our jaws on the floor at the beginning of the week.
Little did we know what happened this weekend.
BREAKING: Per sources familiar to me & colleague @davidspunt, as part of an ongoing federal probe, the FBI seized former Congressman Eric Swalwell’s electronics at his home in DC on Sunday. Nobody was home.

…We are also told the FBI seized his electronics from him at San Francisco airport (SFO) on Saturday.
Swalwell was not detained or placed under arrest.
We are told this probe is in relation to the sexual misconduct allegations against Swalwell.
FBI is not commenting.
@FoxNews has reached out to Swalwell’s attorney for comment.
How was this not front-page news on Sunday?! Holy smokes!
FBI agents confronted Eric Swalwell with a search warrant when he landed at San Francisco Airport Saturday and seized the former congressman’s electronic devices, including his cell phone, as part of a federal criminal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal.
The agents, armed with additional court-approved search warrants, then entered his house in Washington, DC, on Sunday, seizing additional undisclosed potential evidence, well-placed sources tell the Daily Mail.
Sources say the former representative started his day Saturday in Washington, where he still maintains a residence with his wife and three children.
He headed to the airport later in the day and flew to his home state of California. The feds were waiting for him when he stepped off the plane.
According to sources, Swalwell was cooperative.
The following day, neither he nor his wife, Brittany Watts, was home when the feds rolled up to their property in Northeast DC.
Swalwell, 45, faces multiple sexual assault allegations.
Yeesh.
…The Department of Justice launched its investigation into the disgraced former congressman in April.
Swalwell was also being investigated by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Swalwell has vehemently denied the allegation, but they nevertheless torpedoed his campaign for California governor, forcing him to drop out of a race he’d once led.
This is an astonishing development after decades of zero accountability, and even this momentary bit of public discomfiture for this piece of scum and villainy is particularly delicious.

That it might foretell even more legal jeopardy in the offing is so heartwarming; I could shriek and scare the cats half to death.
It must have been hard for the FBI agents who stopped Swalwell at the airport to keep a straight face, though.
Ew GAWD!
I hope they washed their hands…☠️ pic.twitter.com/fUfmFbkiWv

Oh, I hope they followed all the safety protocols dealing with the slime they surely encountered.
We need everyone up and running to finish this thing off.
