Texas Attorney Goes Viral After Judge Allegedly Humiliates Her Over ‘Inappropriate’ Dress [WATCH]

A Texas attorney’s account of being called out over her courtroom clothing has exploded across social media, drawing nearly 7 million views.

The dispute centers on a dress that attorney Mariah Medina said she had worn countless times without any previous issue, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Medina, a former reporter based in San Antonio, described the incident Monday in a post on X.

She said the same dress had been acceptable both during her former job and during appearances in other courts.

Judge Yolanda Huff, who has been on the bench since 2019, apparently saw the outfit differently. According to Medina, Huff deemed the dress “inappropriate” for court.

Medina said she tried to explain that the outfit was a “shift dress.” That explanation did not end what quickly became an uncomfortable and very public exchange inside the courtroom.

Medina also said Huff asked her to come around the bench so the judge could inspect the outfit. The attorney said this happened in front of everyone present, adding to her humiliation.

According to Medina, Huff then laughed and asked whether the attorney truly believed the dress was appropriate.

The episode gained traction because Medina said the dress had never created a problem at her old job or in other courts.

Huff’s alleged reaction, particularly the request that Medina approach the bench for an inspection, became the central point of outrage.

She said the judge called attention to her clothing in front of others, inspected the dress, laughed, and questioned whether Medina considered it appropriate.
