‘Up Your Nose With a Rubber Hose’ for LA’s Fire Season

Under normal circumstances, I would say that the voters of Los Angeles would probably soon come to regret not having firebrand independent Spencer Pratt on their mayoral ballot in a couple of months, never mind actually electing him.

And that’s pretending that the voters of LA didn’t, in fact, vote to put Spencer Pratt on the November ballot – they may well have. But the corrupt California Democrat machine made its moves in the middle of the night, and over the days of stalling results that it took to figure out just how many checkmarks in Nythia Raman’s column it was going to take to bump the surprise campaign star out of his second-place perch. And made it happen.

How I hope they live to regret it over and over again.

Spencer Pratt swore not to slink away, after initially saying he would probably move if he lost, knowing conditions under either woman would continue becoming ever more intolerable.

He got mad. Well, wait.

He got even madder.

And he is on their cases like stink on roadkill. This latest video of his, as his beloved Los Angeles hillsides head into yet another fire season, is a barn burner of shocking, disgusting, and revolting revelations of the utter incompetence and complete disregard for their constituents by the current city leadership – Mayor Karen Bass and Co. 

SO WHAT’S NEW?

Interestingly enough, it turns out that one of the main culprits in the Pacific Palisades fire catastrophe is the infamous and EMPTY Santa Ynez reservoir, which was meant to keep the water pressure up for the fire hydrants it provided water to.

As it was sitting EMPTY with LA firefighters none the wiser at the time of the great conflagration that ate the LA hillsides, a number of significant problems were encountered as the embattled first responders tried to save homes and businesses from the raging inferno – hydrants ran dry for lack of both water and the water pressure to feed what water there was to upper parts of the waterlines, and firefighting helicopters with their dump bags had to fly to another site six air minutes away per load, instead of just up over the hillside, about a thirty-second flight.

When the reservoir story was exposed, it should have been the end of Bass and her $750K-a-year head of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Janisse Quiñones, who could not begin to explain how the gravity feed for the tanks worked, never mind that whole ‘reservoir being drained dry’ thing (I explained it all in a January 2025 post here).

Well, Quiñones hightailed it out of LA when the residents’ fire damages lawsuit was approved to continue by the courts. She landed a cushy job as the head of drought-stricken Puerto Rico’s electrical grid operator, LUMA. Chances are now excellent that the island will wind up dry and permanently dark.

Cabbage Patch Bass continues to rictus-grin her way through larping as mayor.

And the Santa Ynez reservoir is dry. Still.

Santa Ynez Reservoir Dry Again as Palisades Endures Third Fire Season Without Water

Seriously. It’s the canvas cover issue again.

The Los Angeles reservoir that was notoriously empty during the 2025 Palisades fire has been drained once again as crews replace its floating cover, to the dismay of area residents who worry that there won’t be water available to fight wildfires.

The Santa Ynez Reservoir stores drinking water for Pacific Palisades, and the $19.5-million project to replace its damaged cover is needed to ensure the water is safe to drink, according to the Department of Water and Power.

But with warm weather and wildfire season ahead, community leaders would prefer to see a full reservoir even if the water isn’t suitable for drinking.

“It’s a failure to recognize that there is value to this community to have the reservoir full,” said Maryam Zar, head of the Palisades Recovery Coalition. “It’s incredible to me that after the experience we went through [with the Palisades fire] there is still no recognition that this reservoir should be filled to the gills, whether or not it’s potable.”

Pratt has found that Mayor Bass and her brainless trust have a unique solution, and he addresses it head-on at the very beginning of the video.

And that is exactly what the City of Los Angeles has done, as Pratt shows you while walking alongside the great grey monster snaking, twisting, and torquing through the already pretty crispy underbrush.

It’s just a wow visual.

Spencer Pratt Calls Out Mayor Karen Bass’ Fire Safety Plans After 25-Acre Blaze Ignites in Los Angeles

“Since we’re moving at Karen speed, we’ve been without water for another year, with no end in sight,” the reality star and former mayoral hopeful says

…”That’s right. Some of you may remember that Karen and LADWP infamously drained our 117 million gallon reservoir during fire season right before the Palisades fire,” the reality star, who lost his home in the 2025 Palisades fire, said. “During the peak of the firestorm, our hydrants went dry, leaving firefighters helpless, forcing them to stand and watch everything burn to the ground.”

As Pratt went on, he called out the many infrastructure issues that have plagued the city in 2026, including a July sink hole caused by a water main break in West Hollywood, Calif.

“As you look around LA and you see a new water main break every other day, flooding businesses, destroying the roads, our neglected infrastructure is absolutely crumbling all around us,” he noted. “If water is so damn precious in California, why are we so reckless with it? We are truly being led by the most incompetent and negligent crooks imaginable.”

…”Right now, we’re in the middle of fire season, and our reservoirs are still empty,” he stated. “They drained the Santa Ynez Reservoir again because the tarp that they repaired had to be replaced entirely. And since we’re moving at Karen speed, we’ve been without water for another year, with no end in sight.”

At 5:20 in the video, he hits some of the ‘jenky s**t,’ as he calls it, showing the kinks in the serpentine behemoth lying tucked under some brush, and notes that an early fire had already nearly melted a section of the rubber.

Not even inclined to argue the point because there is too much evidence backing him up.

I’d also like to add that the crew of progressives and outright Marxists running Los Angeles, from the mayor to the avowed socialists on the city council and scattered all through its various agencies and departments, are some of the most evil, brazen, and manipulative creatures in power I have ever seen.

In case you weren’t aware of what the city that ‘cares so much for its fire victims’ did, let me share something that just happened a few days ago.

The LA County Board of Supervisors is taking $5 million of the original $10 million set aside to help fire victims and using it to pay rent for migrant households that claim economic hardship because of ICE.

Losing your home and possibly your livelihood to the literal flames of government incompetence, or being here illegally and mooching off said government, is all the same-same in LA officials’ eyes.

I found it while looking for some more background, and I love it so much. Sandwiched as it is now between what Los Angeles is doing to its citizens, the DSA communists swarming, and what we mourn tomorrow on 9/11, it is particularly impactful.

These people may be dumb, but they’re not stupid, and they most certainly are evil incarnate.
